Media sources report the pair is gearing up to join the Broadway production of “After Midnight.”
*Toni Braxton and Babyface return to the summit of Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums as their duet set “Love, Marriage & Divorce” moves 67,000 in its debut week for a debut at No. 1, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The debut knocks “Beyonce” out of the top spot for the first time since its No. 1 debut on Dec. 28, eight weeks ago. With the 38,000 copies sold this week (down 20%), Bey’s surprise set has now sold 1.7 million to date.
The opening of “Love, Marriage & Divorce” marks Braxton’s fifth time leading the list and, surprisingly, only Babyface’s second.
*New York, NY – Multi-Platinum superstars Toni Braxton and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds are the latest Grammy Award-winning artists set to join the roster of “Special Guest Star” vocalists in the new Broadway musical After Midnight.
With an impressive 16 Grammy Awards between them, Braxton and Edmonds will join the company following k.d. lang, Tuesday, March 18, 2014 through Sunday, March 30, 2014.

*Good fortune may be smiling down on Toni Braxton with the success of her Babyface collaborative project, “Love, Marriage & Divorce,” but she’s also seen her share of setbacks as a result of filing for bankruptcy twice.
To hear her tell it, financial issues come with the territory with being in the music industry. Speaking with “The Breakfast Club” radio show, Braxton detailed how much money artists like her really pull in when starting out.
Braxton opened up about her return during an interview with Hello Beautiful. According to songstress, it was earlier this year that she announced the end of her 20-year career in music as she revealed that she had fallen out of love with music and was officially done recording.
