*“Basketball Wives: Los Angeles” is back y’all, just when you almost forgot about the show.
VH1 promises to bring two more big doses of drama, cat fights, and who knows what else. And they’ve added two more cast mates to the mix.
Brooke Bailey, a model, video vixen and ex-girlfriend of Miami Heat’s Rashard Lewis, along with Adiz “Bambi” Benson, a rapper and model. Both are joining the show.
But Tanya Williams, and Kimsha Artest, will not return, as expected. The super trailer reveals that the newcomers actually start off on bad terms due to some beef about an old lover.
Unlike most of these other shows, the ladies ended the last season on a high note. However, what would reality shows be without some conflict? So the ladies clash in the new season over some new stuff and some old.
The new season premieres Sept. 10 on VH1.
*“Basketball Wives: Los Angeles” is on its way back to a television near you.
The show started off with a bad reputation with lots of gossipy catfights and confrontations on every episode, but it looks like the franchise is trying to clean things up.
Yes, there was lots of fighting and more drama than those Miami squabbling ladies, until season 4. But that’s another post.

Gloria Govan compared the LA series to the original, saying the West side is better than the East side.
“’Basketball Wives: L.A.’ is a little bit more mature,” she told Bossip. This may be true, but really, women throwing bottles on television is a problem anywhere.
She guarantees, however, things will be interesting, but won’t be any bottle throwing.
“Don’t get me wrong, you’re definitely going to see drama,” said Gloria, “but you’re not gonna see us throwing bottles and trying to hit each other. I just think that’s overdone.”
