Ceola Walker, 77, shows the many bullet holes in her car and home after police fired at her son, Roy Middleton, 60, as he searched for a cigarette in her car, Saturday, July 27, 2013.
*The entire state of Florida has to send their officers to the anti-racial profiling and sensitivity training because their offenses seem to be endless.
Roy Middleton, 60, went in his driveway Saturday, to look for a cigarette in his mother’s car when police showed up on the scene and demanded he get of the car with his hands up.
According to witnesses, Middleton did not show any aggressive behavior toward them and complied with their demands before they riddled the scene with bullets.
Luckily, they were also unskilled in shooting because only one of the many bullets hit Middleton in the leg.
Temar Boggs, 15, and a friend, rescue a five-year-old neighbor from an abductor, Thursday, July 11, 2013.
*The heroes in our community are never given enough fanfare.
One of the biggest abduction cases in this country’s history that concluded with the rescue of three young women abducted over a decade ago by Charles Ramsey. Too many times, black men are looked at as the suspect and not the hero.
The Lancaster, Pennsylvania, community is thanking Temar Boggs, 15, and his friend for jumping on their bikes when they sensed trouble was afoot in their neighborhood.
Boggs senses were indeed accurate as he followed a man that had abducted his 5-year-old neighbor, Jocelyn Rojas.
As Boggs and his friend continued to follow the car on their bikes, the man eventually gave up and pushed the girl from the car.
Dr. Elias Konwufine was Dean of the Business School at Keiser University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, when he was struck by his own car and killed while trying to retrieve it from a tow truck driver.
*Last week, we reported a story about a man being run over by his own car after his dog jumped on the accelerator.
But now another man has died underneath his own car under far less bizarre conditions.
Dr. Elias Konwufine, 39, was the Dean of the Business School at Keiser University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
According to a report from NBC Miami, he parked his car awkwardly in front of his home in the Sienna Green Condominiums in Lauderhill, Florida, instead of in the driveway and that was a violation of the homeowner’s association.
A truck was sent to tow his vehicle. (more…)
James Campbell, 68, was run over and killed after Bulldog hits accelerator in his car.
*There are some things that happen that seem suspect from the very beginning, but we reason it as “coincidence.”
The latest homicide/murder/accident is quite suspicious.
James Campbell, 68, got out of his car, probably like he’s done a million times, to open the gates to his home, so he could pull his car back up into the driveway when suddenly his car was barreling toward him, killing him.
He had left his partner in the driver’s seat and his pet bulldog in the car. Sound strange? Ummmmhuh! We’re thinking the same thing.
What happened to Gary Dourdan?
*Hot celebrity heart throbs don’t always stay that way ladies.
Age, experience, HOLLYWOOD, and the remnants of it take a toll.
Lipstick Alley and others have posted shocking pictures of Gary Dourdan that we’re hoping is photoshopped image or something! But it’s not looking very good.
The claim has been that he’s on Methamphetamine or Meth and various other drugs. The EUR reported when he was busted for being in possession of Ecstasy in June of 2011, but he’s been riddled with a lot of problems since then.
Catalina Clouser, 19, left baby on roof of her car and drove off.
*Yes, there’s yet another jackass out there making the news.
A mother took driving under the influence to another level when she she treated her baby like a briefcase or a cup of coffee while preparing to drive off in her vehicle.
Catalina Clouser, 19, of Phoenix, Arizona, sat her baby’s car seat on the roof of her car and drove off while never actually putting the child inside the car. (more…)
