*Looks like there was more to CeeLo Green’s exit from “The Voice” than what the Goodie Mob member revealed.
An insider with knowledge of Green’s situation revealed that the entertainer’s decision to quit the popular NBC show was done more to avoid being fired by the network and Mark Burnett Productions, the producer of “The Voice.”
Although NBC wanted to join Green in announcing his departure together, a second insider with knowledge of the situation stated that the “F-You” singer opted to drop the news on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

*Cee Lo Green is no longer facing sexual assault charges filed last year after a woman said he put Molly in her drink.
But “The Voice” judge has still been charged with furnishing ecstasy, or MDMA, to the woman when they met at a sushi restaurant for dinner, according to TMZ.
Los Angeles prosecutors reportedly have thrown out the sexual assault charges based on lack of sufficient evidence. The unidentified woman told police that after Green slipped a drug in her drink, she later woke up naked in bed with him with no recollection of how she got there, the gossip site reports. The singer has denied the allegations.
Green, 39, whose real name is Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, may be arraigned on the drug charge as early as Monday afternoon.
In other Green news, his TBS reality show, “The Cee Lo Life,” which follows the star in his professional exploits, will debut in 2014.
Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera of NBC’s “The Voice”
*Christina Aguilera says she was glad to see someone else take over her swivel chair for a minute at “The Voice.”
The singer, along with fellow judge Cee-Lo Green, took the 2012 season off – leaving remaining judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton to work with stand-ins Shakira and Usher.
“Honestly, for me, I was happy that someone filled the spot for a second, because I had to step away,” Aguilera told us during the TCA Summer Press Tour. “[In] 2010 I joined the show, and it was a time where I needed to sort of dive into something else outside of myself. [But] then it was like this train that kept gaining and gaining and gaining more viewers as each season went on. And I needed a moment to step away. And thank God for Shakira. She did a beautiful job. And Usher apparently came and stepped up with a lot of creative stuff.

“The Voice” airs Mondays at 8/7c and Tuesdays at 9/8c on NBC.
*A woman has accused recording artist and “The Voice” host Cee Lo Green of sexual assault, claims Green completely denies.
The unidentified woman – who doesn’t reside in California – has filed a lawsuit against Green alleging that he put ecstasy in her drink at a downtown Los Angeles restaurant last July and that she woke up lying in bed naked with Green in the room.
Initially the woman did not file a report while still in California and instead waited until she got to her home state to report it to her local police department. The dept transferred the report to the LAPD and she says the police had her place a “pretext call” to Green as an attempt to get him to acknowledgement the rape.
According to victim, there is recording of Green apologizing for the incident and referring to MDMA but never admitting to putting anything in her beverage. But according to sources close to the artist, if Green had been recorded then he would’ve been arrested by now and that MDMA is not known for knocking people out and making them oblivious.
TMZ reports that the LAPD sent the sent to the District Attorney but prosecutors weren’t pleased with the evidence and sent it back for further investigation.
The D.A. requested toxicology info on any drugs that may have been in the woman’s system while the police are searching for any additional witnesses. They are expected to resubmit their findings to the D.A. “late this week or the following.”
According to Cee Lo Green’s lawyer, the victim has only pursued the case with a civil lawyer after having her initial request for money denied.

*Rock ‘n’ roll legend Little Richard is on the mend after recently suffering a heart attack while at home with his family.
The singer, who turned 80 last year, reveals he was overcome with a coughing fit and started to feel a shooting pain in his arm – and it was only after self-medicating that he started to feel OK.
His doctor later advised him that he had suffered a heart attack, and revealed that he saved his own life with his actions immediately afterward.
During a chat with Cee Lo Green for a Recording Academy fundraiser in Georgia on Sunday, he explained, “The other night, I didn’t know I was having a heart attack. I was coughing, and my right arm was aching. I told my son, ‘Make the room as cold as ice.’ So he turned the air conditioning on, and I took a baby aspirin. The doctor told me that saved my life. Jesus had something for me. He brought me through.”
The veteran entertainer has stepped away from performing since almost collapsing on stage during a gig in Washington, D.C. last summer.
