*Deion Sanders came out the victor after a heated child custody battle against his estranged wife, Pilar Sanders.
The former NFL player will maintain full custody of their two boys, 11 and 13, while they share custody of their 9-year-old daughter.
According to court documents, Deion will make all the major decisions for the boys’ lives, including education and health, while sharing responsibility for their daughter.
“I’m thankful; I’m elated. In any war, there will be casualties, but I didn’t want the casualties in this case to be my kids,” Deion celebrated.
Pilar told the press she was “flabbergasted” after hearing the jury’s decision at the end of the one-week trial.
The former couple will maintain residence in north Texas for their children. Pilar’s attorney is considering an appeal.
*Allen Iverson is looking all kinds of bad with this whole divorce situation. Not only is he trying to get out of giving all his money to his ex-wife, and isn’t a good parent, but he’s also a cheap client.
TMZ reports that the washed up ex-NBA star racked up a hefty attorney bill and isn’t trying to pay up.
Jonathan Levine filed a lien against Iverson saying he owes more than $61,000 stemming from his ugly divorce, which was settled in January.
The fees come from a debt that accumulated when the attorney worked for him back in 2012, before he quit the case at the end of the year. Levine said it was difficult to communicate with his client.
If Iverson doesn’t pay up, Levine is planning to go after his assets.
*Kobe Bryant dodged a hot bullet by avoiding divorce.
Whatever he did to convince Vanessa to come back, he did himself a favor.
According to California attorney Andrew L. Botros, if the couple would have officially parted ways, it would have cost Kobe something around $1.36 M a month, says NecoleBitchie.com.
Due to Cali’s strict divorce laws, Kobe would have to write a check for child support for two little girls and spousal support indefinitely because their marriage was considered a long-term union upon reaching 10 years. He’d also have to split all of their properties.
Child support alone would be somewhere around $365,000, and spousal support would be about $1million – a MONTH.
Good for him, he and Vanessa have kept it together and they’re keeping the money under one roof.
*It looks like Deion Sanders has to share custody of his children with his estranged wife Pilar pending their divorce.
The couple has been going through one of the nastiest public divorces we’ve seen in a while.
But a judge in McKinney, Texas did give exclusive rights to determine primary residents and education decisions to the former football player.
He’s also required to pay $108,000 in attorney fees.
The Sanders divorce trial is set for March.
*Allen Iverson refuses to get screwed over while he goes through a divorce, claiming the judge currently on his case isn’t fair.
His camp says the judge does unethical legal favors for campaign contributors and doesn’t want the same results Usher’s wife was forced to endure.

TMZ reports that Iverson filed a motion last month, asking for the judge to recuse herself from the case, alleging that she’s accepted campaign donations from his estranged wife’s attorney. Besides that, the judge has a particularly shady track record.
Incidentally, Usher’s attorney, during that brutally ugly divorce between the singer and Tameka Raymond, is now the rep for Iverson’s ex.
Iverson says the judge’s decision to rip all custody rights from Tameka was a biased decision.
*Everyone knows the Sanders family business since Pilar and Deion called their 14-year marriage quits.
It’s been nasty, ugly, and embarrassing to say the least. They’ve been in a hot battle over the $250 million estate and custody of the children and all that stuff that comes along with divorce.
Besides that, the two have been publicly ridiculing each other – Deion called his soon-to-be official ex-wife the “ultimate gold digger” in interviews and on social networking sites.
Recently, however, Pilar decided to open up about their relationship and come out about alleged abuse.
“Most recently, every picture on the web would show that my arm was broken and he busted my thumb in attempts to knock me out, kill me, yeah,” she told Cherryontop.com. “And maybe, perhaps, people will believe it more so now, that, unfortunately, they were seeing this season. The very drastic increase of athletes, football players who snap, and unfortunately, take their lives and other people’s lives with them. It’s not that far off, it’s not uncommon among athletes. It’s very, very, very not uncommon when you speak with other NFL wives, football wives, athletes’ wives.”
Further, she said the man lied about Pilar and a friend jumping on him while at the house during their separation. Instead, he attacked the ladies and allegedly broke her arm.
