*Kevin Durant is a part of the sexy/suggestive cell phone ad movement.
The OKC Thunder basketball player is the focus of a new ad in which he’s all about the pajamas in an effort to promote the new “Unlimited NBA” service.
He plays the role of a husband who has overdosed on basketball and begins to look like a ball player.
While the child in the household begins to notice the changes, the mother begins to transform into an all-star strategizer herself.
As the commercial goes on, things look like they’re about to heat up when mom gazes at the new dad with lusting eyes. Just when we think it’s about to be some R. Kelly soundtrack playing in the background, the camera cuts to Kevin being a helpful husband, cleaning out the gutters above the garage.
*Don’t be surprised if, in a few days, you hear about Kobe Bryant being sued. That’s because of what went down in a San Diego area church.
San Diego police are seeking to speak with parishioners who may have witnessed a minor confrontation between the NBA star and a young man at a church service Sunday, according to officials.
Police said Bryant supposedly thought the young man was taking his picture and during a confrontation at the back of the church, he grabbed the man’s phone.
However, Bryant didn’t see his picture on the phone and returned it to the man. Then, along with several friends, left the church before the service was completed, police said. The man, as yet unidentified, later went to a hospital with what is described as a minor wrist sprain.
Uh oh , look out Kobe, here comes that lawsuit!
“We’re attempting to interview all the [participants],” said a San Diego police spokesman.
The incident went down at St. Therese of Carmel Church in the upscale neighborhood of Carmel Valley.

*How long are you able to talk on your cell phone? Do you talk on it in public places? Are you one of those people who are texting throughout an entire movie?
Or are you the one at the cash register in the store, balancing a cell phone, yelling at your children and simultaneously shooting ugly glares at anyone behind you with dirty looks for thinking you are in any way out of line? Well, if you are any of the above, don’t get on Amtrak with that foolishness! They are putting folks OFF!
According to MSNBC, Lakeysha Beard had been repeatedly asked to give her cell phone a rest. At one point, she told (more…)
*Bloomberg.com recently reported that some major cell phone companies are going to let their customers make purchases on their mobile devices. Here’s the story:
The report from Bloomberg said the trials would include Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile and could represent the biggest threat yet to the established credit card industry.
The service is already available in Japan of course, Turkey, and the U.K. Why is the U.S. always the last to get the cool stuff. This service should have been available a long time ago. It’s only logical and business smart. (more…)
