Eastern Conference All-Star Chris Bosh #1 of the Miami Heat walks off the court after the Sears Shooting Stars Competition 2014 as part of the 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend at the Smoothie King Center on February 15, 2014 in New Orleans, Louisiana
*With the NFL considering a rule that would penalize use of the N-word during games, Miami Heat center Chris Bosh was asked if he would support a similar ban in the NBA.
“It’s a very tough situation,” Bosh told reporters after Wednesday’s practice in preparation for Thursday’s game against the New York Knicks. “If that’s the case, they should ban all slurs. And I know it’s a big deal, because I think that word is used too much, especially in the mainstream nowadays.”
Bosh, who is black, said he hears the N-word used by players during games and that it creates uncomfortable situations, although he says it’s used primarily “in a friendly” way.
LeBron James #6 of the Miami Heat shoots a foul shot during a game against the Phoenix Suns at American Airlines Arena on November 25, 2013 in Miami
*Well, he’s one for confidence.
There’s no doubt in LeBron James he’s one of the top four players to ever play pro basketball.
Did you see his last second buzzer-beater last night (02-12-14) against Golden State? If you didn’t, scroll down to watch it.
If there’s ever going to be a Mount Rushmore for NBA players, he said he’ll definitely be on it and dares anyone to challenge that.
*LeBron James sure knows how to keep people talking. Or rather Chris Bosh’s daughter.
Larry Brown Sports reports the Miami Heat all-star’s picture with his teammate’s young daughter has raised more than a few eyebrows.
On Tuesday night, James posted the photo featuring him and Bosh’s daughter on Instagram and included the following caption:
*A new “Let’s Move” PSA has hit the streets with Michelle Obama getting physical with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Ray Allen and Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat.
The quartet from the reigning NBA champs visited the White House to film the 50-second clip, during which FLOTUS slam dunks, photobombs the players as they’re being interviewed by Heat coach Erik Spoelstra and gets them all to munch on apples.
Gee whiz! Who even knew she was preggers?
Anywhoo, congrats are in order for Chris and Adrienne Bosh. The Miami Heat star player and his Mrs have a new addition to the family.
Their little baby girl came into the world Monday morning, according to a report at Hip Hollywood. Dylan Skye Bosh was born at 5:55a.m. She weighed 6 lbs 14 oz. and was 19 inches long.
“I feel like I’m 10 ft. Tall right now! Very happy to welcome another child to the world! #proudfather #BoshFamily,” big poppa, Chris Bosh proudly told the world via Twitter.
Adrienne also posted her thoughts about the situation on twitter: “A perfectday celebrating The beautiful process of Love/Life. We appreciate the wellwishes! #BoshFamily #PrincessDylan.”
Chris and Adrinne who also have a son named Jackson and Chris also has a daughter, Trinity (5), from a previous relationship.
*When you’re the baddest badasses and everybody knows it, what the point in trying to seem humble?
That’s the situation the Miami Heat and especially their Big 3 find themselves in these days after two back to back NBA championships. So when it came time to take promotional pics/videos for the upcoming season, well the badassness was in full effect.
LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, each wearing a different alternate uniform, waded through smoke and fake fire at an over-the-top photo shoot.
The shoot featured a shirtless James working out with chains and tires while Wade walked ominously through artificial smoke when the director imagined “There’s No Easy Way Out” blaring from the American Airlines Arena speakers.
We hope the Bulls’ center Joakim Noah doesn’t see this. You know how much he hates the “Hollywood Heat.” Watching this would probably put him in heart attack mode.
And now the badassness. And don’t laugh.
