*An arrest warrant has been issued for Kid ‘N Play rapper Christopher Reid’s after he failed to show up for a court-ordered progress hearing on Thursday, reports TMZ.com
Reid was arrested for driving drunk in July, 2010, and pleaded no contest. He was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to take an alcohol education program, attend counseling and pay $1,400 in fines.
However, after missing multiple court dates tied to the charge, he was detained on an outstanding warrant on August 9 when officers showed up at his house in Los Angeles. He was later released after paying a small fine.
The “House Party” star was again due to appear in court on Thursday (Jan 5) for a progress hearing but L.A. County Superior Court officials issued a bench warrant for his arrest after Reid was declared a no-show.
According to TMZ, Kid is aware of the situation and sent his lawyer to the court this morning to sort out the issue, which he claims came down to innocent.
