*Gucci Mane, real name Radric Davis, has turned himself in to Atlanta authorities after an arrest warrant was issued in connection with his alleged assault on a soldier.
As previously reported, the rapper was at an Atlanta nightclub on March 16 when he allegedly cracked a soldier with a champagne bottle after he asked the artist to take a picture together.
The victim commented that he hadn’t expected the rapper to be so violent. “I’m in the military. I wanted to get a picture with Gucci Mane, is it OK?” the soldier told WSBTV he had asked a security guard. This then prompted the rapper to strike him in the head with a champagne bottle, causing “a severe laceration on the top of the man’s head” according to a report of the incident, obtained by ABC.
According to the police report, Gucci Mane then left in a white Chevy Tahoe, while the soldier, identified as James Lettley, was taken to the hospital, where he received ten stitches.
The Atlanta rapper , currently starring in the film “Spring Breakers,” was booked into the Fulton County Jail late Tuesday for suspicion of aggravated assault with a weapon, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
*“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Joseline Hernandez got caught up in the latest trend of club fighting.
She was in downtown Atlanta Monday night at a viewing party when a fan approached her with questions about her abortion.
Hernandez, who of course was not expecting that, took offense to the person’s interrogation.
It’s not quite clear yet who threw the first punch, but things certainly got rowdy after that.
Witnesses say, however, Hernandez started the physical part of the altercation, but ended up getting a dirty south beat down.
One alleged witness decided to go public and defend her friend by ‘clearing up’ the rumors.
“This is some bull….I am so tired of telling people what happened…My friend asked her Joseline “why would you get rid of the baby her and Stevie J” had made…She then brushed my friend off (the chick was every NYC hood type) so my friend hit her. I mean, you can’t just brush people off in the club and think it’s cool. Now she’s telling people that my friend hit her with a bottle and that’s not true.”
So far the alleged attacker hasn’t spoken, but Joseline is speaking on the incident … to a certain extent. She didn’t say what happened from her point of view, but according to Examiner.com, she denied a Media Take Out report that claimed she was hit with a bottle causing her to “flee the club with a bloodied face.”
“Once again MTO is always getting false statements I should take y’all to court for lying lol,” she tweeted.
And to supposedly prove her face was still intact, Hernandez included the snap below as proof.
Chris Brown photographs the gash suffered during a fight between his camp and Drake's entourage at a New York night club
*Chris Brown has given a statement to NYPD investigators about the bottle-flying melee between Chris Brown and Drake at New York nightclub W.i.P. on Wednesday night. The fight left Brown with a bloody gash on his chin and seriously injured one of his bodyguards, Big Pat.
Unnamed law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Brown’s celebrity lawyer, Mark Geragos, has given police unspecified “physical evidence” that allegedly implicates Drake and Meek as the aggressors in the fight.
One of the rappers hanging with Drake that night, Meek Mill, has denied reports that he set the fight off by tossing a bottle at Brown’s group. Drake has also said he had nothing to do with the melee, issuing a statement on Thursday that read, “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began. [Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”
Police say neither Brown nor Drake are currently suspects in the case and the Brown is being treated as a “witness and a victim.” And while Drake has reportedly been “cooperating” with investigators and his representatives have had conversations with police, it was unclear at press time if the rapper had been involved in any direct talks with detectives.
Citing unnamed sources, TMZ claimed that the instigator may have been someone in Brown’s camp who was “inciting Drake and his people all night.” A video purportedly showing the brawl also emerged on Thursday on YouTube. (See below. Warning, strong language.)
Though it’s not possible to make out who is involved in the fight, a DJ can be heard saying that the party will resume shortly and at one point a large gentleman in a white tank top covered with blood can be seen being escorted from the club. A short time later, a man is seen throwing a punch at another gentleman being held by security, after which the aggressor runs out the door of the club.
Another video, seen below, shows footage of Chris Brown and Mill leaving the club. Meek was spotted walking down the sidewalk, while Brown takes off his shirt before getting into a black SUV. Drake is also in the clip, but he is partially hidden in the crowd. Trey Songz was also filmed walking out of the club. [Footage starts at 2:35 below.]
As previously reported, a bystander who was injured in the incident, 24-year-old Australian tourist Hollie C., has filed a police report after getting hit in the head by a bottle.
Hollie C. photographs her injuries following a fight between the entourages of Chris Brown and Drake
She suffered a gash that required 16 stitches and on Thursday she posted the below video in which she lashed out those involved.
She says in the clip: “I went out last night with my friends to a place called W.i.P. and I’ve spent most of the night and morning in hospital … the reason why I have 16 stitches on my head, my face is because of some stupid famous people having a fight over a girl. Where’s the justice in them walking away, driving away in a limo while I have to catch a train home on one of my holidays?”
