And as we prepare for the eve of the Academy Awards, it is only right that we give the floor to Ed Lover to weigh in on what is exactly goin’ on in Hollywood.

*The Ed Lover Morning Show reportedly aired on New York’s Power 105.1 for the last time on Friday (Nov. 20).
According to hiphopdx.com, the hip hop veteran acknowledged fans and listeners in a goodbye tweet: “No more Ed Lover show on Power 1051! Thanks to all the fans over the years! It was fun!”
There is no word on if this will affect Lover’s “C’Mon Son” webisode series, which is featured on HipHopDX, among other outlets.
Through television and radio, Queens, New York’s Ed Lover (born James Roberts) has also worked as an actor for nearly 20 years. His knowledge and care for the culture has been apparent from his years hosting “Yo! MTV Raps” with partner Dr. Dré and working at radio since 1993, the website notes.
