*Mariah Carey tweeted that she and her family were prepping pecan pie for Thanksgiving…and the above visual aid soon followed.
Carey, husband Nick Cannon and their twins, Moroccan and Monroe, 2½, posed for the Instagram picture in their N.Y.C. kitchen.
With the city skyline line behind them, little ‘Roc and Ms. Monroe (as Carey calls them) sucked on lollipops while Cannon held onto a big bowl of pecans.
“It’s going down in this kitchen! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!” Cannon, 33, posted along with a pic of their fall decorations. “Up late, getting ready for Thanksgiving @MariahCarey and Dem Babies!”

*Mariah Carey has been confined to bedazzled arm slings since July after taking a spill on the set of a music video and dislocating her shoulder. She counts that discomfort, and the pain of pushing out Dem Babies – 2-year-old Moroccan and Monroe – among the toughest experiences in her life thus far.
She told E! News: “Anybody who’s ever had multiples will know it is one of the most difficult experiences ever but the reward is just beyond – I can’t even explain how rewarding having these babies is for me. But yeah, breaking my rib was not festive. Dislocating my shoulder was not a good thing, either.”
Earlier this month, the 43-year-old songbird lamented on her tough road to recovery, telling fans her dislocated shoulder has been the ”toughest experience” of her life in an emotional open letter posted on her Facebook page.
She wrote: ”When people expected me to go, ‘Here I am, I’m back and everything’s great’, it didn’t happen because my hand was still in tremendous pain and it took this long for it to heal.”
However, Mariah – who is married to “America’s Got Talent” host Nick Cannon – has had a fairly quick recovery period, exceeding the expectations of her doctors.
She added: “It’s a huge deal, it should have taken eight months and even my doctors can’t believe it. It’s been a long journey, the physical therapists have been incredible and I am very grateful to all of them for helping me.”

*First it was “Dem Babies.” Now it’s “Dem Puppies.”
Mariah Carey, already mom to 2-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, has expanded her family again – this time with three new puppies. And she wants the public to name each one.
“Help name dem puppies!!” she tweeted of the two males and one female dog, the offspring of her pooch Squeak E. Beans.
The trio joins Mariah’s four other Jack Russell terriers: Cha Cha, Jackie Lambchops, Jill E. Beans and JJ.
*‘Dem Babies’ are on the move.
Nick Cannon says twins with wife Mariah Carey are now standing on their own two feet and have taken their first steps, although it took longer than expected.

“They are taking steps and figuring it out, but I wouldn’t say they are walking yet,” he told People.com of 13-month-old Moroccan and Monroe. “I thought walking was like, one day you stand then you just start walking. I didn’t know it was a process. There’s a lot of falling. They take a few steps and then fall and go right back to crawling.”
The babies are even in competition with each other. According to Nick, Monroe is taking more steps than her brother.
”Roc can balance himself a lot better. He can stand and bounce without falling for a long time. But Monroe takes more steps than he does,” said Nick.

*Nick Cannon has had to overhaul his entire diet following his recent health scare.
The “America’s Got Talent” host was hospitalized with kidney failure and blood clots on his lungs before being diagnosed with autoimmune disease lupus nephritis earlier this year.
Since choosing healthier foods, he said: ”I feel better than I’ve ever been. I’m in the best shape that I’ve ever been in. Since this whole thing has happened, I haven’t had any salt, red meat, fast food. [I've only had] chicken and fish. I feel so great. I’m juicing a lot.”
As previously reported, the 31-year-old star and wife Mariah Carey will celebrate their twins Moroccan and Monroe’s first birthday on April 30, and are planning to head overseas as a family.
”It’s amazing. It goes by so fast,” he said. “We’re going away. We’re taking a break. It’s going to be exciting. We’re doing something special and something unique.”
But with their increasing age comes increasing mobility, much to Nick’s terror. He explained to People Magazine: ”They’re trying to walk and I’m nervous because they’re at that age when anything can happen. My son has this thing where he loves banging his head and crushing stuff. Something new is happening every day.”
*Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are headed to Paris for the first birthday of dem babies.
The couple’s son Moroccan and daughter Monroe turn one on April 30, and Cannon told E! news they’ll be overseas on the big day.
When a party at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France was suggested, Nick appeared to hint the speculation was right, smiling as he said: ”You’re good. You’re good.”
As well as being the twins’ birthday, April 30 is also Nick and Mariah’s wedding anniversary. As previously reported, Cannon recently confirmed they will again renew their marital vows on the day and promised the twins will be involved.
”We get married every year; it’s our thing,” he said. “I just have to keep doing it to make sure it’s real! It’s gonna be big. So it’s a family day. We’ll celebrate with them during the day and just the two of us at night.”
