*The craziest offenses are getting the young and not-so-innocent arrested lately.
University of Florida’s star linebacker, Antonio Morrison, 19, was arrested on Sunday morning for approaching the window of a police squad car in front of a night club and barking at the K-9 inside.
Police were at the night club responding to a non-related incident when Morrison thought he’d bark at the dog because he barked at him, according to the Daily Mail. If this is sounding really dumb, wait, it gets worse.
Leon Rosby had the unfortunate task of watching his dog be killed by a police officer during his arrest.
*The story we reported lst Tuesday, on the Hawthorne, California police officers that shot a man’s dog while arresting him has resulted in the duties of several of the officers to be cut back.
The three officers seen on the video have been yanked off the streets until further notice because the police department fears for their safety.
One of the officers has even been receiving death threats, according to ABC News. After the shooting was posted online, it received 3.7 million hits on YouTube.
As Leon Rosby is arrested by Hawthorne, California police officers, one officer shoots and kills his dog after the dog escapes from Rosby’s vehicle to protect him, Sunday, June 30, 2013.
*It seems that the only way to keep police officers throughout the country honest is to film them.
Nowadays, whenever something happens that calls for police involvement, many of us are whippin’ out the trusty cell phone cam and filming.
Well one man in Hawthorne, Calif., was doing just that when police came and arrested him. According to the Daily Mail, Leon Rosby, 52, was walking his 3-year-old, 130-pound, Rottweiler, Max, around 7 p.m. Sunday, when he saw an intense police scene.
There were several police cars and an armored truck for what appeared to be some sort of raid on a home.
Rosby was filming the scene along with several others and police started toward him.
According to the report, he was being arrested for filming and possibly playing his music too loud. One neighbor claimed that Rosby told police that Rosby yelled, “It’s my (expletive) radio!”
But Rosby denied the claim saying that he is a christian and he doesn’t swear.
*They say dogs are man’s best friend, but the love starts as little boys. A little boy and his dog are not soon parted…unless there’s a fight to keep the dark side from overwhelming the planet.
One little boy and his dog had a fight to the death over who would rule the earth (or basement). Their battle begins with a narrating scroll in typical Star Wars fashion, that reads:
“It is a dark time for the rebellion. Although the Dog Star has been destroyed, Imperial pooches have driven the Rebel forces from their hidden base and pursued them across the playpen…”
Then all dark side breaks out and the young jedi and his dog, armed with lightsabers, do battle. The boy looks to have the upper hand, but his dog is fearless…until the boy goes too far and misses the lightsaber
Michael Terron Daniel got high on K2 or "spice" and ate a dog, June 14, 2012.
This zombie stuff has to end in the news.
Do you think that the stories are giving folks bad ideas to experiment with lethal drugs?
The latest story is a little different from the others though because it doesn’t involve “bath salts” or human consumption.
Michael Terron Daniel went into a drug-fueled rampage June 14, in Waco, Texas, that was so bad that he asked authorities to tase him to bring him out of his “bad trip.” (more…)
