*Eddie Murphy’s last name is taking center stage in a new lawsuit from a comedian with the same last name.
TMZ reports that Brando Murphy has brought a $50 million defamation lawsuit against the comic veteran.
Brando Murphy claims that Eddie is determined to destroy his comedy career. According to the young comic, Eddie’s determination to ruin him stems from absurd vanity.
*Eddie Murphy’s daughters have just added lingerie shots to their modeling portfolios.
Bria (right) and Shayne, whose mother is model Nicole Murphy, both got in front of the lens for photographer Dimitri Ray, who appears to specialize in lingerie shoots for his studio Epic LA, reports People.com. Both girls then posted the photos to their own Instagram accounts, along with a few more risque shots from the session.
In a Mother’s Day story for People magazine in 2012, Nicole commented on her two budding models, saying, “Bria is a mixture of me and her father. Shayne has her own look … They’re beautiful. I’ve always told them you have to have tough skin if you’re going to be in this business.”
*We all know that Tameka Raymond has been solo since splitting with her ex-husband Usher, but now the former married lady is also without a home.
Usher has given Tameka the boot from the 12,544 square-foot Georgia mansion she lived in since their divorce was finalized in 2009.
Usher first purchased the home for $3.04 million in 2007. Although she was allowed to live there, Usher always had the right to sell the house at any time as long as he gave Tameka 30 days notice, the divorce settlement stated.

*Lee Daniels is in talks to bring a long-awaited Richard Pryor biopic to the big screen, with Michael B. Jordan, Damon Wayans and Eddie Murphy currently in the running to play the lead.
Pryor’s widow, Jennifer, is producing the film along with movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The untitled project has been in the works since 2009, with actor Forest Whitaker the last big name attached. He signed on last March to write the script and produce. It is not known if he is still linked to the film.
Adam Sandler and director Bill Condon were previously involved in the project before it was shelved in 2011.
Pryor died of a heart attack in 2005, at the age of 65.
