*Former NBA player Eric Williams has stayed busy since his NBA career ended in 2007; the 10-year vet dabbled in real estate and frequently appeared on the first two seasons of VH1’s “Basketball Wives.”
We got a glimpse of his next move during his time on “Basketball Wives” as he talked with Royce Reed and Suzie Ketcham about the possibility of starring in a movie centered around five women robbing men they had gotten close to.
What seemed like a dream or bad idea to the ladies at the time has come to fruition for Williams, as “The Caribbean Heist“ is due to be released via digital download on May 10th at www.TheCaribbeanHeist.com.
First-time director Max Sainvil weaves the tale of five women who move to Miami, Florida in hopes of creating better lives for themselves, but soon face the bitter reality of an unstable economy and band together to target and rob some of Miami’s wealthiest men.
Newcomers Lindsay Washburn, Christa Graziano, Caroline Schwitzky, Keriyani and Nancy Sayegh make up the cadre of beautiful women whose circumstances lead to larceny, while judging from the trailer, Williams appears as a menacing underworld figure bent on revenge.
The Caribbean Heist, directed by Max Sainvil, produced by Ernest Ruffin and starring Eric Williams will be available for download May 10th on the film’s website. Visit www.TheCaribbeanHeist.com for additional information and view the film’s trailer below.
*Hmmm, looks like there’s been some hanky panky going on right under now ex “Basket Ball Wife” Jennifer Williams’ nose and she was clueless.
Williams’ estranged husband, former NBA player Eric Williams, allegedly had a secret child in 2011 … and now the baby mama wants him to pony up some child support ASAP.
Tavia Serena Cannon filed a Complaint for Support in PA last week, she claims she had a child with Eric in October 2011. Cannon says she makes $300/week babysitting and wants Williams to fork over some cash and medical coverage for the kid.
Here’s the rub … at the time the baby was allegedly conceived — Jan/Feb 2011 — the former NBAer was still married to Jennifer … who didn’t file for divorce until June 2011.
Sources close to Jennifer tell TMZ this news comes as a shock. They claim the “BB Wife” had NO CLUE about the child. Their divorce is still pending in a NJ court.
Calls to Eric Williamss rep have not been returned.
You will automatically think of Toni Braxton, Nene Leakes, Shaunie O’Neal, The Kardashians and the likes of Chrissy, Kimbella and Emily B of “Love and Hip-Hop.”
And while many of these women may not be married, many of them are; and a lot of the men on the shows get the short end of the stick.
One of our partner sites, Uptown Magazine, decided to show these men some love.
Here are 6 husbands on reality TV who are downright embarrassing.
Fans of Braxton Family Values on WeTV get to see Gabe Solis and his wife Trina Braxton go at it time and time again. The problem seems to be that Gabe cheated on Trina and has been guilty on numerous occasions of cybersex. Trina retaliated by having an “oral transaction” with one of her band members. Recently, Gabe was in the press denying rumors that his last affair was with a cross-dresser.
*Just like the headline says, this page/board is where you can discuss the stuff that we didn’t cover in today’s issue. (It’s sort of like feedback with a twist) Remember, NO name calling, racial taunting, graphic sex talk and vulgarity in general, PLEASE.

Jan. 6: Singer Kathy Sledge of Sister Sledge is 53. Singer Eric Williams of BLACKstreet is 52. Director John Singleton is 44.
Jan. 6, 1820: The first organized emigration to Africa begins when 86 free African Americans leave New York Harbor aboard the Mayflower of Liberia. They are bound for the British colony of Sierra Leone.
He says the members in question have used the group’s name illegally, since he’s half the owner of the group’s trademark. Chauncey Hannibal is the other “Blackstreet” owner.
According to the lawsuit, Mark Middleton and Eric Williams have used the group’s name to book performances, including a claim to the Blackstreet name in November, without getting the proper permission.
Lawyers for both Riley and Hannibal have sent cease and desist letters, but the other have just ignored them.
The names has caused such a big issue that promoters are afraid to book anyone associated with the group, and as a result has cost everyone money.
To top things off, according to a report at allhiphop.com, two men went on Jenny Boom Boom’s show on Hot 93.7 in Hartford to talk about the matter, saying there are two “different sets” of Blackstreet since the trademark owners refuse to share the proceeds.
*Jennifer Williams has had quite a bit of attention lately since the airing of the infamous drink doss.
If you have been living under a rock these past few weeks, on the finale episode of “Basketball Wives” Jen’s ex-hubby Eric tossed a drink in her face with no remorse.
Since the incident, she’s been talking about how she feels and what she learned, if anything at all. In an interview with Essence, Jennifer shared that she’s a bit worried about Eric’s behavior.
“We filmed that a while ago so I’m somewhat over it. But never in a million years thought it would come down to this. We’ve been together so long that I feel like we should have a mutual respect for one another.”
Eric justified his actions and told the world that he was casting a demon out of Jen.
“Between his actions and what he’s been saying on twitter, I don’t really know who he is right now. He’s just a different person from the one I know. I feel like he’s falling off the deep end, and I’m like, you can’t be that bitter about what’s going on. The stuff he’s been saying has been outlandish and I’m just wondering when the real Eric is going to come back.”
In the meantime, she’s not waiting for the man she fell in love with to reemerge. She’s moving on and is beginning to date again.
