The good stories always seem to fall by the wayside…until now.
Filmmaker J.V. Harvey has taken it upon himself to profile the good samaritans of the Hartford, Connecticut neighborhood where the homeless come to congregate and get good home-cooked meals and professional haircuts from not social service programs, but normal everyday people who want to help in their community.

*Does it seem like there’s a conspiracy to rid the U.S. of its public schools?
Well, if there is, one state seems to be the prototype for the government’s experiment.
Michigan teachers in a small school district in the Buena Vista Education Association joined together Friday, and agreed to work for free as they were notified that the district has run out of money to pay their salaries.
The school year does not end until June 23, but their pay will stop in mid-May, according to the Huffington Post.

Well the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is proposing making free WiFi available to everyone. But, the only supporters they have for the major move is Google and Microsoft.
But, that’s a good start! The wireless companies, as you might have guessed, are strongly fighting the measure.
American consumers would finally win with the many advantages opening up the wireless airwaves would allow.
So many of us are paying $50 per month or more just to have a hot spot on our laptops and other devices, at-home internet, and data packages for our cell phones. Who wouldn’t want to be the recipient of those monthly savings?

Getting up each morning is a battle, but they do it. But just think if you suffered from one of these rare, debilitating diseases and you were extremely poor.
That adds another unbearable level of difficulty because there isn’t any access to resources to help with the illness.
According to a report in the New York Daily News from Britain’s The Sun newspaper, Meng Weixin 14, was born with congenital neurofibromatosis.
It’s a rare disease that caused his feet to grow and grow until they resembled balloons.
He hasn’t been able to wear shoes because of the condition and now he is being given the ultimate gift.

Thanks to a sensible judge and a recanted story, the wrongly accused young man has been freed.
