*Producers behind the new “X-Men” movie had to make a slew of last-minute changes to Halle Berry’s role to accommodate her pregnancy as filming with a growing baby bump proved to be a “constant challenge.”
The actress is expecting a baby with her new husband Olivier Martinez, but she refused to let her pregnancy stop her from reprising her role as mutant Storm in the upcoming “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”
Berry has revealed the filming schedule was arranged to make sure her scenes were filmed early on before her bump grew too big, and the role had to change because of it.
“I wasn’t in (the film) as much as I was meant to be… That (the baby bump) kind of colored what my involvement could be, which was why I was one of the first ones in and the first ones out,” she tells Total Film magazine. “My ever-growing belly was posing a constant challenge. What I could do was getting more limited so the role that I play is so different from what it could have been, due to my surprise pregnancy.”
The baby is due later this summer. Halle also has a five-year-old daughter, Nahla, with her former partner Gabriel Aubry.

The 46-year-old Oscar winner is three months pregnant with her first child with fiance Olivier Martinez and has reportedly learned she is having a boy.
Halle already has 5-year-old Nahla from her previous relationship with Gabriel Aubry.

*Halle Berry admits she was a little taken aback upon finding out she was with child for the second time at age 46.
“I feel fantastic. This has been the biggest surprise of my life to tell you the truth,” said Berry in an interview with CNN’s Alina Cho.
The Academy Award-winning actress and fiance Olivier Martinez are expecting their first child together.
“I thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it’s been a big surprise and the most wonderful,” the actress said.
In the interview, Berry said she did not know if she was having boy, as some other media outlets have reported. Berry has been engaged to Martinez, 47, a French actor, for more than a year.
Berry also has a daughter, Nahla, 5, with her ex-boyfriend, Canadian model Gabriel Aubry. She waged a difficult custody battle with Aubry when she wanted to move with Nahla to France. The estranged couple reached a settlement in November.
Berry’s CNN interview also touched on her work with designer Michael Kors and the U.N. World Food Programme to fight hunger.

*It’s gonna be a while before Halle Berry makes that move to France.
The actress has been anxious to start a new life in Europe with her fiancé Olivier Martinez, but her ex, Gabriel Aubry, has bitterly contested her plans to take their five-year-old daughter Nahla with them.
Berry now says she will hold off on the move until her daughter is old enough to decide on her own where she wants to live.
”It probably won’t be until my daughter is 18 and off to college,” she told Hello! magazine. “When Nahla turns 18, she’ll be legally able to make her own decisions about where she wants to be and I think that then, when she’s off on her own, we’ll move there. It’s where I want to end my days, that’s for sure.”
Halle says her beau thinks she should hold off on trying to learn his language.
”I was told very lovingly by him not to work on it too hard now but to wait until we get to live there,” she said. “Because for me, at my age and with all that I already have on my plate, trying to learn French is probably one of the hardest things I could possibly do.
”He thinks I’ll have an easier time when we’re living there and immersed in the culture – if we ever get to go that is.”

*Looks like Halle Berry is planning to marry her fiancé Olivier Martinez in his native Paris.
The couple spent Christmas in Europe over the holidays and paps caught the actress visiting potential wedding venues, including the historic sixth century Saint-Germain-des-Pres abbey and the Saint-Sulpice cathedral, according to Us Weekly magazine.
A source tells the publication, “Halle was stunned by their beauty. This wedding will be a dream come true!”
The insider adds, “Halle wants to marry Olivier in Paris. She knows how special it will be for him to celebrate at home.”
Berry, who has been married twice before, has been dating the actor since 2010. They became engaged last year.
She recently had a legal request to relocate from Los Angeles to Paris with her young daughter Nahla denied by a judge in her ongoing custody battle with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
