The “Being Mary Jane” star says that juggling different projects was a factor in her brief split from Wade, during which he fathered a child with another woman.
“When you’re debating whether to go backward or forward, you have to look at the original issue,” she says. When she and Wade broke up briefly in 2013, “it was because of distance and scheduling. I finished filming the show, then I flew to Vegas right away to start shooting ‘Think Like a Man Too.’ I couldn’t take time off, and I missed some quality togetherness we desperately needed.”

In addition to chatting about the new season, ironically the 42-year-old starlet weighed in on relationships. Providing relationship advice, she gave some insight on the red flags that women should be aware of.
Days later, her fiance announced that he had fathered a child outside of their relationship, during a break.
