The video is quite different than the recent photos of the 15-year-old celebrity daughter after her failed suicide attempt a while back. In the clip, done 3 months ago, a healthy-looking Paris testified during two days of questioning. She is also shown speaking about their former nanny, Grace Rwaramba.
The lawyers of concert promoter AEG Live played the video. The Jackson family is currently suing AEG for the death of Michael Jackson in 2009. Their involvement in his death is having retained Dr. Conrad Murray, who has already been convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
Airing Paris’ disposition video was a plot by AEG lawyers to weaken the credibility of the Jackson family chef, Kai Chase. Kai testified to Michael’s physical deterioration prior to his death.
Chase had praised the family’s former nanny Rwaramba, saying she was “the mother they knew” referring to Paris and her two brothers, Prince and ‘Blanket‘. But later described her otherwise, claiming that Paris’ father, Michael Jackson, had told her Rawramba was “sneaky” and that she “wasn’t an honest person, and she lied a lot.”
In the video, Paris shared about a time when she and brother Prince were still very young and their youngest sibling wasn’t even born yet. She says Rwaramba went to the hotel where Michael was staying and told the staff she was his wife.
Paris claims Michael woke up to find Rwaramba in his bed. This may prove to not only weaken her credibility but serves as a “creepy” instance of someone who was obsessed with their employer.
