*Rosie Perez and Jennifer Lopez have been frosty toward each other for more than two decades, Perez reveals in her upcoming memoir, Handbook for an Unpredictable Life.
It all started on the set of “In Living Color,” where Perez was the choreographer for the Fly Girl dancers and J.Lo was auditioning to join the group.
Perez says she immediately noticed Lopez, who she recalled as a beautiful girl with “a big ass,” reports the New York Post. Show creator and host, Keenan Ivory Wayans, wasn’t a fan though. She had to convince him to hire Lopez, who he thought was “chubby and corny.”
*”American Idol” isn’t be the only thing Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey have in common.
Radar Online is reporting that J.Lo’s assistant has quit her job and has been hired by Carey, who is now operating under a new management team.
Gilly Iyer has been planning her departure for a minute, the website reported, but decided to make her move only after Jermaine Durpibecame Carey’s manager earlier this month.
A source told RadarOnline.com: ”Gilly had enough, she was over it. Gilly had been looking to leave for some time and as soon as Mariah hired Jermaine, she quit. Jennifer was stunned. But she has already hired a replacement.”
J.Lo’s boyfriend Casper Smart has allegedly been throwing his weight around and would ”mistreat, fire and alienate her” workers, according to Radar Online.
The source added: ”Casper always insisted that Jennifer’s staff call him Mr. Smart and even demanded that Gilly get him drinks.”
J.Lo and her former background dancer Casper, 18 years her junior, started dating in 2011 following her divorce from third husband Marc Anthony, however, sources allege the relationship is on the rocks and they don’t feel the same way about each other.
The couple, claims the source, are in ”different places” in their lives.
*Jennifer Lopez is a mom, in her mid-40’s, and claims to be an example for young girls everywhere.
However, many critics feel that her wardrobe choice on “Britain’s Got Talent” last week was in very poor taste.
The actress-singer hybrid gyrated and slid on all fours across the stage wearing just a tiny black leotard, fishnet tights and thigh-high boots. Many responded with shock to her sexy getup on the family show.
Jennifer wore a red take on the look at this year’s “Billboard Music Awards” and stands by her choice of clothing.
“I think people are so much raunchier than I am. I feel like I’m so tame. We wore it at ‘Billboard’ and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ said they wanted exactly the same. So I thought I’d wear the outfit in black,” she explained to BBC Radio 1.
She continued, “No one complained at Billboard. I think people just like to talk. It was a body suit. A lot of performers wear that these days. It is standard stage clothes. I’m not going to walk down the street like that!”
The outfit left little to the imagination, but the 43-year-old assured fans she would never reveal too much of her “assets.”
“Sure, absolutely,” she answered when asked if she was wearing anything underneath.
“I’m a pro – I know what I’m doing. I would never take those types of risks or anything like that. You should see my knees. In rehearsals I really banged my knees up from sliding and dancing on the floor.”
Lopez added, “Luckily with that outfit, which is why I wore it on ‘Billboard’ and in ‘Britain’s Got Talent,’ is that I can wear a very small knee pad underneath, ‘cause I have those tall boots. I was so happy that I could wear it as I was very raw from rehearsals and I cut it open the day before.”
*Jennifer Lopez got a little too raunchy for the public’s taste last night on “Britain’s Got Talent.”
Wearing thigh-high boots and a skintight bodysuit, the 43-year-old performed her hit single “#LiveItUp” to a warm reception from the live audience and judging panel, including Simon Cowell. But the number didn’t sit well with some viewers at home.
Ofcom, which is similar to the FCC in that it regulates media, confirmed to E! News it has “received complaints, which we are currently assessing but not investigating at the moment.”
“If we consider the potential that the broadcasting code wasn’t abided by, there is potential we would investigate,” a spokesman for the organization said. “But it’s too early to speculate.”
Lopez and her dancers, however, seemed oblivious to any potential parental concerns. She posted an Instagram photo of her team holding her up post-performance, writing simply, “Thanks @GotTalent for a great night #liveitup.”
One offended tweeter wrote of her performance: “Jennifer Lopez was just way to much on BGT.. There’s young children watching and she has her popo all up in the camera. Put it away girl! (sic)”
Another said: “Just watched the @JLo performance on BGT. She needs educating by @Beyonce regarding the sexy/trashy debacle when performing. #PutItAway.”

*Jennifer Lopez was rushed off set while shooting a new music video in Florida on Sunday after gunshots were reportedly fired nearby.
The singer/actress was in the middle of an interview with “Entertainment Tonight’s” Rob Marciano on the set at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park when shots rang out.
Lopez, who had been in the area filming the promo for her track “Live It Up” with rapper Pitbull, was immediately taken to safety by her security team who escorted the star into her vehicle before local police arrived on the scene.
Marciano later took to Twitter to inform fans about the incident, writing, “BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away… Can hear & see ambulances converging 400 yards down the street… Police confirming: ‘shots fired. no one hit.’ Whew.”
In a statement, Fort Lauderdale Police Department spokesman Detective DeAnna Greenlaw said officers attempted to investigate the incident but there appeared to be no evidence of a shooting, no witnesses and no injuries.
