Terry Ragland, 55, of Jackson, Tennessee, was told by her doctor that she had a case of Ghetto Booty when being treated for back pain in April.
*Black women have often been under the microscope and/or the center of attention for their coveted derriere’s.
The plumper the butt the more sought after they are for rapper’s music videos and believed to be more prominent in the south as a result of good ol’ Southern cooking.
But never have we ever heard of a black woman’s round posterior being associated with some sort of defect of her spine referred to as “Ghetto Booty”!
So, it is of no surprise when Terry Ragland, 55, of Jackson, Tennessee, was treated for back pain and diagnosed by her new doctor with this sort of unofficial medical terminology, she was shocked.
Ragland was treated by Dr. Timothy Sweo in April, when he thought that this was suitable or acceptable to convey to Ragland in racist laymen’s terms her medical condition that is really called “lumbar lordosis.”
He didn’t think that a woman with “ghetto booty” would understood the terminology and this was the only way to explain it to her.
Geno Lee runs The Big Apple Inn in Jackson, Mississippi.
*The food in America is a reflection of all the different cultures that have been merged into the fabric of the country over the last 100 years.
The South might have some of the most interesting delicacies.
The Lee’s Big Apple Inn in Jackson, Mississippi, has been serving up pig ears since 1939.
That’s right! Nice succulent, tender pig ear sandwiches.
Bizarre Foods in America chef and foodie host Andrew Zimmern ran across the Big Apple and, of course Mr. maggot salads himself, ordered two pig ear sandwiches, two smokes or sausage sandwiches, and something called a tamale.
Now Zimmerman claims that this is not an acquired taste, that anyone would enjoy the tender ear. But, as we said, Mr. dried cockroaches on a stick has a palate unlike any other.
*Former doctor Conrad Murray is not going home from lockdown.
Unfortunately his legal team failed at convincing the judge that he’s worthy of getting let out the cage after being convicted of manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.
According to TMZ, the California Attorney General doesn’t believe Murray when he says he’s not a flight risk and says he’s going to have to stay where he is. The shamed former medical professional tells the court that if he’s let out, he’ll live with his girlfriend and mother of his child, Nicole Alvarez in Santa Monica.
But his argument wasn’t enough because he’s got seven children by five different women. Prosecutors argue that he shows no sign of stability.
He also claims that he can’t go anywhere because by now the world knows his face and it would be difficult for him to hide. Wrong answer. Prosecution argued that he’s not a real celebrity except for being famous for killing a “real” celeb.
Sorry Murray, you ain’t goin’ no where anytime soon.

The video has been available on YouTube since July 15, averaging more than 200 million views per month.

*Pilar Sanders, the estranged wife of former NFLer Deion Sanders, is vowing to continue fighting for her children after losing custody of two of them – and claims she’s a “victim of Deion’s celebrity status.” At a Dallas court hearing last week, Pilar lost temporary custody of her two boys, who have been living with their NFL Network analyst and Hall of Fame father. The judge also reduced Pilar’s child support from $10,500 to $5,500 a month.
Jasmine Benjamin, 17, was found dead in her dorm room study area on November 18, and her parents found out via Facebook.
*There is nothing like the tragedy of losing a child, especially when you send your child to college and they fall prey to violence.
That’s the last thing anyone would expect to happen to their child.
Well, the Judith and James Jackson are still in shock after learning on Facebook that their daughter was found dead in her dorm room at Valdosta State University.
Jasmine Benjamin, 17, was found in a study room in Georgia Hall around noon on Nov. 18, according to the Huffington Post report from the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
