*Well it’s about damn time.
Rapper Jim Jones and long-time girlfriend Chrissy Lampkin have finally picked a wedding date (sort of).
On the last season of “Chrissy & Mr. Jones,” Chrissy was dealing with a serious case of cold feet, but the couple revealed to Sister 2 Sister that their wedding plans are back on track!
“We’re going to get married soon, but the question is people want to know if we’re going to be married on television,” Jim told S2S. “I don’t know if they’ll get that. I don’t know if that will happen on television.”
Until they reach the alter, Jim and Chrissy are putting their energy into raising his son Pudie together.
“As far as the dynamic with Pudie in the house, I think it’s helpful. It makes me and Jimmy come together and raise him,” Chrissy said. “It helps your perspective. I think it’s a plus.”
Jim added, “It’s definitely a different look from what all people have seen from us on television. It’s a good, clean, funny look. I think people need to see that.”
Chrissy expressed that observing Jim’s commitment to parenting erased some of her past doubts about how his lifestyle would affect his ability to be a good dad. The couple is now considering having a baby of their own.
“That’s something that I think about a lot and that’s definitely something that we’re going to work on,” Chrissy revealed. “I mean I love him, so why not complete this family?”

*Jim Jones is throwing down the race card after being pulled over by police at Newark Airport last week.
He says four white cops stopped him and ordered him out of the car to search the vehicle for drugs.
TMZ caught the action in the above photo.
The rapper was at the airport Friday waiting to pick up a friend from the international thoroughfare when police claimed to have smelled weed coming from his car.
According to Jim’s reps, the police didn’t find a single ounce of bud on him, but he was still issued a citation for driving without a license.
His rep said, “He was searched for nothing more than racial profiling.”

*One of the biggest stars from the Love and Hip Hop reality TV show was a woman that no one expected to be – Mama Jones.
Well, she started off hating Chrissy Lampkin, the now pregnant soon to be wife of her son Jim Jones. The conflict made for good TV. It made for good TV so much that VH1 decided to give her a show.
Now, yes, we know … who is really going to expect us to sit down to watch this old woman have at it for 30 minutes or an hour?
If VH1 didn’t think there was a market for it, they wouldn’t have created it.
With that being said, here are the top 5 reasons this show will be a hit.
