*For whatever reason the White House has yet to release official photos of Mrs. Michelle Obama‘s 50th birthday bash.
*John Legend and Alicia Keys will take part in the upcoming Grammy special “The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute To The Beatles.”
Organizers announced the line up Monday, which will include Annie Lennox and Award winner Dave Stewart, who will reunite as the Eurythmics for one night only; 14-time Grammy Award winner Keys and nine-time Grammy Award winner Legend together in a special performance.
*Alicia Keys teamed up with John Legend to pay tribute to late South African leader Nelson Mandela during a performance in Australia on Saturday (Dec. 7).
Keys took the stage with her tour mate to sing an acoustic rendition of Bob Marley’s classic “Redemption Song in honor of the anti-apartheid activist during their show in the Yarra Valley.
Keys told the audience, “We wanted to do something special for you in honor of the great Nelson Mandela, who I feel so moved by in every way. What an incredible life lived and what an inspiration for us to all carry forward.”
Remembering her performance at Mandela’s 91st birthday in 2009, Keys wrote in a post on her website, “I was in awe of a man whose soul was filled with an effortless and rare love that only comes once in a lifetime. He was a gentle man with a beautiful smile, and deep eyes that always saw the best in humanity. His legacy lives on in all of us!”

“I want to wear a bathing suit for my husband that makes me feel sexy. I know other women feel the same way, so I was inspired to design a line.”
Her designs included sparkling Swarovski crystals and Chantilly lace from France. Teigen, who modeled her own designs for Beach Bunny in Belize, stated “A bridal swimsuit is a very special and sexy look designed to make your man’s heart skip a beat.”
The word “bride” is printed on the butt of some pieces in the collection. What the heck is up wit dat Chrissy?
“While the swimwear had to be eye-popping as well as functional for honeymoon travel, it also needed to stand apart from other styles on the beach,” she said. “So we added a little humor!”
“Chrissy Teigen for Beach Bunny Bride” is available now. You can find locations or order it online at Beach Bunny’s website.
*Ladies (and gents if its your thang!) you now have our permission to drool. PEOPLE magazine has just released The Sexiest Man Alive issue, and boy do they have some eye-candy inside.
While Maroon 5 frontman and “The Voice” star Adam Levine took the top honor for 2013, some pretty hunky brothers also made the highly coveted list.
“Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom” actor Idris Elba, “12 Years A Slave” star Chiwetel Ejiofor (pictured above), “Frutivale Station” hottie Michael B. Jordan, Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Terry Crews, Blair Underwood, David Oyelowo, Hill Harper and Dancing With the Stars’ Corbin Bleu represented for the actors.
Also on the pages were Miami Heat star LeBron James and singer John Legend, who both became married men in 2013.
Fortysomething cuties Pharrell, Tyson Beckford and Jamie Foxx earned spots on the list as well, proving that some men only get sexier with age.
Singer and former host of The Voice, Usher, with those sexy dimples of his, makes a return appearance to the list this year too.
Congrats to the fellas!
Heart palpitations aside, was there anyone you feel should’ve made the cut, but didn’t?
Legend was asked during the interview to talk about West, baby North West and even his nude stint of “Funny or Die.”
“I haven’t met baby North yet, but Kanye is normal a lot of the time. I write with him. I’m in the studio with him a lot of the time. He’s just a normal funny guy most of the time,” John Legend says in the clip below. “But you know, he’s different. He’s special. Honestly I always wonder, in my heart of hearts, like, does he do some of the things he does because he knows everyone is going to go crazy about it? Is he behind the scenes just calculating and making you all think he’s crazy? When he’s around me I feel like he’s not a crazy person.”
On whether or not he actually does everything around the house nude like his “Funny or Die” skit suggested, Legend says he’s not really into it like that.
“Occasionally I walk around naked, but it’s not a normal thing. I don’t live a nudist’s life,” said Legend. “We thought we’d have some fun with it and I thought we did a good job.”
