Well, finally Pulliam has spoken out and confirmed everybody’s suspicions. The actress uploaded photos of herself and the radio personality and told the world that are indeed an item.
*Oh my nappy hair is the name of a popular L.A. hair salon and a phrase (in some form or another) we women of color say at one point as we attempt to tackle the beautiful frizz, kinks and various textures of our God-given cranial mops. Hair is our crown, our identifying jewel of perfection and beauty. It is our glue, our badge of honor, our photo savior, our wing-woman. Seriously, it’s our best friend.
Over the years, our hair culture has transformed significantly: hair rags, conks, Afros, box braids, perms, weaves, wigs, and back to natural all over again. What remains the same, however, is the need to have healthy, and for some of us, lengthy hair. But with all the damage many of us have done, we have very little to salvage.
As some of us return to our natural state of being, divorce the chemicals and some of us the hot comb, restoration, growth, and overall health are high on the priority list.
Several products offer miracle results, but hardly deliver. Actress and philanthropist, Keshia Knight Pulliam, known for her darling role as “Rudy Huxtable” on “The Cosby Show,” recently became the brand ambassador for Hairfinity, a product she whole-heartedly supports.
Founded on the idea that healthy hair comes from the inside out, Hairfinity is a dietary supplement containing vitamins essential for hair health, according to the company’s website.
The supplements “contain the basic nutrients for overall health. A healthy body is the ideal environment for healthy hair to thrive,” the site reads.
Listed vitamins include Biotin, frequently used to help strengthen nails and hair, C, D, and Silica, a mineral used to help hair elasticity.
Keshia says the product has worked for her.
“Becoming brand ambassador happened very organically,” she says. “Since I was a child my hair has taken on a personality of its own and I’ve been approached by several companies. But I guard my brand. I did my own homework and tried the product. I definitely saw the difference after two months.”
Since beginning her journey with Hairfinity, Keshia says she’s sold. As a woman who embraces holistic well being, she says this product is something worth getting behind and sharing with friends, family and fans.
“Beauty, health and wellness is about from the inside out. With my girls at my non-profit, I tell them that your body is your temple. I am a firm believer in that. You can buy gels and shampoos and moisturizers, but ultimately it starts from the inside out. It starts with a healthy lifestyle.”
Keshia admits that now after taking the supplement for at least four months, her hairdresser has to cut her bangs every two weeks. Not only is she seeing faster hair growth, but she also notices stronger strands and a more vibrant shine.
Overall health is also very important to the actress, who mentors young girls through Kamp Kizzy, her Georgia-based non-profit. Along with adding Hairfinity to her daily regimen, she also exercises, enjoys a healthy diet and juices regularly. Looking as good as she does isn’t exactly a piece of cake (pun intended).
While she’s gearing up to hit the road for her brand ambassador adventure, Keshia is also busy working on ways to better serve her community and building her production company, Kizzy Productions.

Keshia Knight Pulliam made serious change on TBS’ “House of Payne.” Something on the order of $20k per episode, her agents, er, former agents claim. We say former agents because they claim that after they put the deal together she fired them. Now, according to TMZ, they are suing her.
KKP is being sued by Greene & Associates Talent Agency … which claims it signed Keshia back in 2007 and immediately got her a lead role on the Tyler Perry show as Miranda Payne.
G&A claims it kicked ass for KKP, getting her between $7,500 to $20k per episode … including $20k per ep for all of the 2011-12 season …. not bad.
But not good enough for Keshia … because according to the suit, she fired G&A back in July.
There’s just one BIG problem … G&A claims Keshia never forked over a single cent in commission from the ‘Payne’ deal … and several other shows it worked on for Keshia.
Now, the agency is suing for more than $100k in back payments PLUS more than $250k for commissions that Keshia stands to earn in the future from deals it helped put together.
