*After having one too many, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s Krayzie Bone found himself in lockdown earlier today but now he’s been released and according to TMZ, he’s going to be a good boy from now on.
“First time it has ever happened to me. So lesson learned,” he said.
We asked if he’d be sure to get a driver next time. Bone responded, “Yeah, that’s the best thing to do.”
TMZ broke the story … Krayzie was arrested early this morning in L.A. after a routine traffic stop. We’re told he appeared to be under the influence, so cops administered a field sobriety test … which he bombed. He was then placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI.
*After years of rolling with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, founding member Krazyie Bone has announced his departure from the group.
‘I will no longer be part of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony,” the rapper revealed on Thursday (Apr. 14). He will concentrate on a solo career and his new record label.
“Due to uncontrollable circumstances, it’s basically time for me to move on and start embarking on different endeavors that I’ve already had planned in my life,” Krayzie Bone said. “[I'm trying] to go another level in this music game, and just trying to grow and become greater in what I do, and concentrate on the new generation of artists that I have and puttin’ back into the up and coming artists, the new fresh talent that’s coming about.”
The group has certainly struggled over their 20-year history and suffered its share of losses before reuniting as a five-man group last year. Bone Thugs released “Uni5: The World’s Enemy.”
Despite recently airing many of his grievances about the group’s various behind-the-scenes battles, Krayzie bears his former partners — two of whom are his brothers — no ill will.
“It’s been a great 20-year run with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, I have nothing to complain about,” he explained.
