Reports of La Toya Jackson being married are false, according to the singer.
In a statement released to “Entertainment Tonight,” Jackson and her longtime friend, Jeffre Phillips, go on the record with denying they are a married couple.
“The rumors that La Toya Jackson married her longtime business partner Jeffre Phillips are completely false,” a rep for Jackson told ET exclusively on Monday. “The reporting outlet should be embarrassed for their mistake and at least make an effort to find facts to back up their story before reporting.”
Marriage talk surrounding Jackson and Phillips stemmed from RadarOnline.com, which reported that Jackson tied the knot for the second time. According to the site, Jackson married Phillips on Friday (Dec. 6) in Los Angeles.
Those reportedly attending the ceremony included Jackson’s mother, Katherine, and nephew Prince.

*La Toya Jackson will take over for Jackée Harry in Rick Crom’s off-Broadway production of NEWSical the Musical, which merges celebrity and political scandals through music.
“I’ve wanted to do [theatre] but on Broadway the shows play for such a long, extended time,” she told the New York Post.
Jackson begins her one-week limited engagement on Sept. 3 at Theatre Row’s Kirk Theatre.
According to production notes, “NEWSical the Musical is the forever changing, completely un-sanitized musical mockery of all the news that’s fit to spoof. From Honey Boo Boo to Paula Deen, Andrew Weiner to A-Rod, marriage equality to Kim and Kanye’s baby North West, NEWSical sets all of today’s biggest pop culture headlines to music.”
Jackson is the latest on a growing roster of stars to lead NEWSical. In addition to Jackée Harry, the show in the last year has welcomed guest headliners Perez Hilton, Tony nominee Andrea McArdle, Cheri Oteri and Carson Kressley.

*Still hospitalized after a suicide attempt, Paris Jackson is receiving family visitors while her guardians mull over what to do next, reports People.com.
“Paris is doing well, smiling again and can’t wait to see her friends,” a family source tells the outlet.
The 15-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson was sent to an L.A. area hospital early Tuesday after cutting her wrists with a kitchen knife and taking as many as 20 ibuprofen pills, People confirms.
Among those visiting her are her grandmother/co-guardian Katherine Jackson, mother Debbie Rowe, brother Prince Michael Jackson, aunt LaToya Jackson and her former nanny Grace Rwaramba.

*Discovery Networks had been promising that OWN, its joint venture network with Oprah Winfrey, would at best break even on a cash flow basis in the second half of 2013.
But CEO David Zaslav slightly raised the stakes this morning, promising those attending Sanford C. Bernstein’s Strategic Decisions Conference that “we’ll be making money on OWN,” reports Deadline.com
The channel — which stumbled out of the gate in 2011 — is “ahead of where we thought it would be” and “finding enormous success for us,” said Zaslav. For example, on Saturday night, when it runs original programming without Winfrey, “we’re the No. 1 network for African American women,” he said.
OWN’s Saturday night lineup recently featured “Iyanla: Fix My Life,” “Raising Whitley” and “Life with La Toya.” Beginning this weekend, the Kym Whitley and La Toya Jackson reality shows will move into Iyanla Vanzant’s former slot at 9 and 9:30 p.m., while new series “Golden Sisters” will follow at 10 p.m.
“Golden Sisters,” which aired several test episodes in a trial run last year, follows elderly sisters Mary, Josie and Teresa who shot to fame after a web video of the trio viewing Kim Kardashian’s sex tape went viral. Watch the first five minutes of the premiere below.
