*Good lord! Talk about the bottom falling out. That’s the situation it seems Mathew Knowles is in these days.
Knowles who was once the HNIC of Team Beyonce/Destiny’s Child, making gazillions in the process, is now down and out and can barely pay child support.
TMZ is reporting that things are so raggedy for Knowles that he went to court to have the support payments slashed because his income has plummeted in radical fashion: Continue reading
*Dang, this is not a good look for Mathew Knowles and by extension, Beyonce.
Mathew Knowles (pictured) is not just behind on his child support payments, but his baby mama, Alexsandra Wright, is destitute and has to use food stamps to survive.
*Beyonce’s daddy, Mathew Knowles‘ money problems appear to be getting worse.
This news comes on the heels of him being accused as a deadbeat dad by his baby mama, Alexsandra Wright.
Now we’re learning that he’s being sued by a company that at one time, handled his cash.
*He may be a baby daddy, but Mathew Knowles’ camp says he is not a deadbeat dad.
In a statement to Sister 2 Sister magazine, the music mogul’s legal team denied claims made by Knowles’ former mistress Alexsandra Wright that he owes her $24,000 for missing his last two child support payments. Knowles agreed in 2010 to pay $12,000 a month in child support for his 3-year-old son Nixon.
“There have been several media reports [this week] suggesting that Mr. Knowles has a delinquency concerning his child support obligation to Ms. Alexsandra Wright,” stated Knowles’ spokesman, Ken Harris. “At this point, Mr. Knowles’ financial advisers indicate that he is current concerning that obligation.”
Harris continued confirming that Knowles would have never skipped one of his child support payment as he revealed that his client has every intention of making his next payment before the end of the month.
“Mr. Knowles takes his obligation related to the support of his son very seriously,” he said. “To that end, Mr. Knowles has consistently provided support during all periods for which he has been legally obligated.”
“Mr. Knowles’ child support obligation has been the subject of substantial litigation over the past year,” Harris added. “A mediation concerning this matter has been scheduled for later this month.”
If a resolution isn’t found at the mediation, the legal drama will continue with a hearing for Knowles and Wright scheduled for early 2014.
*Say it ain’t so. Beyonce‘s dad, Mathew Knowles, is being called a “Deadbeat Dad.”
You heard us.
This according to the mother of his 3-year-old son, Nixon, who claims Mathew Knowles has stiffed her out of $24k in child support, according to TMZ, who got a hold of California State records showing Knowles has missed TWO of the $12k monthly payments he’s been ordered to pay to Alexsandra Wright.
Sources close to Wright says she’s in a financial bind and needs the cash asap — we’re told she even had to pull her son from school because she can’t afford the tuition.
As has been reported … the legal battles between Knowles and Wright have been ugly. She claims Knowles sent a threatening email to her in 2011 … warning “there’s a price to pay” for hurting his family.
We reached out to Mathew for comment — so far, no word back.

*Mathew Knowles is quietly facing struggles along the way with his record label “Music World” and it’s slowing slipping out of his fingers.
The label has been previously known for successful releases in both gospel and R&B but despite Knowles’ previous denial to Jawn Murray’s AlwaysAList, the company is on the market for sale.
Although no official deals have been made, there have been many major record execs that have confirmed meetings with Knowles about potentially purchasing his label.
Word is Knowles filed suit against one of highest selling artists Brian Courtney Wilson in order to keep him from leaving the label while he attempted to sell it off.
Sources say Wilson’s contract with the label has already lapsed but Knowles was unaware and attempted to use the suit to hinder his potential offers from other companies.
In a statement sent via email, Knowles replied: “Music World Gospel had it’s best year ever in 2012 ranked number 3 overall in market share. We hope continue this trend.”
