*The NWA biopic is actually getting off the ground now.
Filmmaker and recently dubbed biopic director of “Straight Outta Compton,” F. Gary Gray is looking for the perfect actors to play the baddest crew in Hip Hop history.
The last we heard about the film, Ice Cube confirmed the project was going to come through, but he was searching for the right man to head it up.

Cube and Matt Alvarez, as well as Eazy-E’s widow Tomica Woods are producing the movie of the decade.
As we said, actors are being cast for the film and via Twitter, F. Gary Gray shared the following:
I’m casting for my next film STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON. Spread the word! Thanks!

*Filmmakers are thinking outside of the box lately. On the set of “The Great Gatsby,” Jay-Z’s music was heard! Imagine that.
According to reports, Australian director Baz Luhrmann bumped some of that Rocafella entertainment to sort of break the ice.
“On my first day he had Jay-Z pumped up full, and we did the entire scene with, you know, Jay-Z in our ear on full blast while acting, and it was just so liberating,” Isla Fischer told MTV.
But the other side of that is, it won’t get played in the finishing cuts of the film.
Starring Isla Fisher, as well as Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire and Joel Edgerton, “The Great Gatsby” hits theaters on Christmas Day.
