Over the weekend, Moët & Chandon Nectar Impérial Rosésponsored an exclusive dinner at STK in Atlanta.
The event was hosted by music executive Shawn “Pecas” Costner, Mike Kyser, Chaka Zulu and other industry folk. We spotted some of your favorite celebrity couples including: NeNe and Greg Leakes, Ludacris along with his girlfriend Eudoxie, Cynthia Baily and Peter Thomas, Usher and Grace Miguel, along with Toya Wright and Memphitz.
Rapper Jeezy, Ne-Yo, Tank and Tyrese from TGT, radio personality Big Tigger and R&B Divas: LA’s Claudette Ortiz were also in attendance.
Multi-platinum singer/songwriter Ne-Yo and his charity, the Compound Foundation honored Academy award-winning actor Louis Gossett Jr. and celebrity photographer Johnny Nunez at their 2nd Annual “Fostering A Legacy”.

The event went down over the weekend, with Cartoon Network President & COO Stuart C. Snyder receiving the corporate award for his generous corporate support and work with the Compound Foundation.
Held at the East Hampton estate of NCR Corporation CEO Bill Nuti and co-hosted by actor/comedian Kevin Hart, a number of celebrities were in attendance including Estelle (who performed), Adrienne Bailon (‘The Real’), RaVaughn (singer), Mario, Bridgett Kelly and NeYo’s ex-fiance/baby-mama, Monyetta Shaw.
On Tuesday, the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta singer thew a bash in honor of her new album, Rebellious Soul. With lots of girl power in affect, Elle Varner, Bridget Kelly and Tiara Thomas helped her celebrate, along with NeYo.
Music Director for ABC’s American Idol, Season 10 and 11 Ray Chew
*Judges and contestants come and go, but Musical Director Ray Chew is still manning the post now for seasons 10, 11 and 12 on Fox’s “American Idol.”
But this is just a continuation of Ray’s stellar career as a conductor for nationally televised events. His other credits include “It’s Showtime at the Apollo,” “The Singing Bee” on NBC, and BET’s “Sunday Best.”
Ray has performed with an A-list of stars including Aretha Franklin, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Prince, James Taylor, Anita Baker, Queen Latifah, Ne-Yo, Barry Manilow, T.I., Smokey Robinson, Jennifer Hudson and Quincy Jones.
Ray also brought his musical genius to Carnegie Hall with the sold out “A Night Of Inspiration,” which featured Shirley Caesar, Kurt Carr, Michael McDonald, Bebe and Cece Winans, a 123 voice mass choir and a 53 piece orchestra. Maestro Chew has conducted “A Tribute to Motown,” as well as Donald Trump’s “Miss USA” and “Miss Universe” pageants, among other award shows for the BET network. Ray also orchestrated and conducted a 63 piece orchestra for “The Diary of Alicia Keys” farewell tour at LA’s Hollywood Bowl.
Ray has been featured on over 100 award winning Gold and Platinum recordings. He has served as a trustee of NARAS, and currently sits on it’s New York Chapter Board.
