*Troubled actor Orlando Brown was sentenced to six months in jail on charges relating to his 2011 drunk driving arrest.
The former “That’s So Raven” star was taken into custody on August 23 and ordered to serve 180 days behind bars after failing to show proof he had completed court-ordered alcohol education classes stemming from his previous court case.
However, Brown is expected to be released by Sept. 19 due to prison overcrowding, according to TMZ.com.
*Can you say f**k up?
Yes, that’s how one time actor/singer Orlando Brown is being referred to these days.
Brown, who starred on Disney’s “That’s So Raven,” received another bench warrant last week, but beleive it or not, it had nothing to do with his DUI arrest last month
Nope, this most recent bench warrant was because Brown didn’t show for a court date for a 2011 DUI … in which he was supposed to show he had completed an alcohol program and attended AA meetings as part of his probation for that case, according to TMZ.
OK, count ‘em up. In the past year, Brown has been the recipient of not one, not two, but THREE bench warrants issued against him stemming from the 2011 case.
Again, can you say f**k up?
*Former “That’s So Raven” star Orlando Brown, who briefly went missing in 2008, was taken into police custody on Tuesday after being arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, reports the Los Angeles Times.
The 25-year-old actor, who played Raven-Symone’s friend Eddie Thomas on the Disney Channel series, was arrested late Sunday night while driving on Lankershim Boulevard. According to the paper, the former child actor is being held on a $26,000 arrest warrant from a previous DUI arrest.
Brown was first arrested on suspicion of DUI in August 2011, when he was pulled over for driving without a license plate and given a sobriety test after cops believed he smelled of alcohol.
Brown struck a plea deal with prosecutors, who ordered him to complete an alcohol education program in order to avoid jail time; however, the actor never enrolled in the class and he also failed to pay $1,908 in fines and court fees. As a result, Brown was re-arrested in June 2012 for not complying, and a month later a judge issued another warrant for his arrest, after he didn’t show up to court to prove that he’d finally joined an alcohol awareness program.
Brown was also arrested in 2007 for drug possession in Texas, after cops pulled him over for driving at night without his headlights on, and found nine grams of marijuana in the driver’s side door when they searched the car.
In April 2008, Brown gave his friends and fans a scare when he seemed to have disappeared. He turned up the following day, saying he simply “needed to be alone.”In a statement, Brown, thanked fans for their support and apologized for not informing anyone of his whereabouts for over 24 hours.
*He’s done it again.
Or maybe we should say he didn’t do it … again.
“That’s So Raven” star Orlando Brown failed to show up for court again and you know what that means. Yep, he was issued a bench warrant for his arrest … AGAIN.
Brown was supposed to appear in court earlier this month to prove he had completed the court-mandated alcohol education program — per a plea deal he struck back in 2011 over his DUI charge from that same year.
But Brown never showed — and on October 23, the judge issued a bench warrant against him for $26,000. This is the third time Brown has missed a court date.
As TMZ previously reported … Brown has had TWO other bench warrants issued against him (one in May and one in July), all stemming from the same DUI charge and all for failing to show up in court and failing to prove he’d met his alcohol education requirements.
Here’s a thought … SHOW UP NEXT TIME!!!
Calls to Orlando’s rep have not been returned.
*Poor Orlando Brown.
The boy just can’t seem to get it right.
And because he can’t or hasn’t, he’s in deep doo-doo with the law … again.
The “That’s So Raven” star now has a second arrest warrant stemming from a 2011 DUI case.
The first warrant was issued in May because Brown had failed to enroll in a court-ordered alcohol education class.

On Monday the second one was issued because Brown didn’t show up for a hearing in which he was supposed to prove he had enrolled in the class.
On top of all that, TMZ reports that Brown a failed to pay $1,908 in fines and court fees.

‘That’s So Raven’ Star Orlando Brown re-arrested for DUI
“That’s So Raven” star Orlando Brown was arrested AGAIN two weeks ago — this time on an outstanding warrant stemming from his 2011 DUI case, according to TMZ. Brown was popped for DUI in August — but struck a plea deal, dodging a jail sentence. As part of the deal, he had to complete an alcohol education program. But authorities say Brown failed to show proof he had enrolled in the class — so the judge issued a bench warrant. We’re told Brown also failed to pay $1,908 in fines and court fees. Bottom line, he was put in lockdown, but he paid bail and is out.
