Deion Sanders (C) helps a single mom in need in the premiere episode of “Deion’s Family Playbook” on OWN
*Deion Sanders was as famous for his on-the-field showboating as he was for his skills as a Hall of Fame cornerback in the NFL.
Thanks to Oprah Winfrey’s OWN, fans are getting to see a less braggadocios side of the retired player in Prime Time’s reality series, “Deion’s Family Playbook,” which highlights his role as a single dad raising five kids of his own, as well as five other children.
The show also follows his charter school Prime Prep Academy, which he co-founded as an effort to make a lasting impact on kids in underserved communities.
Oprah Winfrey schools Lindsay Lohan on the OWN documentary series “Lindsay,” premiering March 9
*The preview clip of OWN’s Lindsay Lohan reality series shown for TV critics in January has finally arrived online ahead of the show’s Sunday, March 9 premiere.
As previously reported, the promo includes a sit down between LiLo and OWN boss Oprah Winfrey after the actress had been blowing off one too many film shoots for the show.
After OWN exec Sherri Salata informs her of this, a disappointed Oprah says, “This is exactly what everybody said was going to happen, and I believed differently.”
*Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey have definitely become TV’s dynamic duo.
Perry is adding yet another gig to his OWN titles and responsibilities. And this time he’ll be in front of the camera.
He’s hosting his own self-titled talk show on the network, “The Tyler Perry Show” — a first for him.

*Fix my messiness is what Saigon‘s asking Iyanla Vanzant.
“The Greatest Story Never Told“ rapper will be appearing on “Iyanla: Fix My Life” this Spring.
He probably sees this as his best option after his relationship with the mother of his child Erica Jean struggled on “Love and Hip-Hop” — the reunion show.
