The rehabbed actress, who stars in a reality series that will air on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN channel early next year, got caught up in some mess last weekend involving an assault on Paris Hilton’s brother Barron.
LiLo reportedly hurried up and called Oprah to reassure her that she had done nothing wrong after being accused by Barron of ordering her friend Ray LeMoine to attack him at a house party in Miami last Friday (Dec. 6).

A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: ”Oprah knows the truth about what happened and there are no problems between the two. Lindsay has tremendous respect for Oprah and she apologized to her for even having her name involved in incident.”
Ray, who has fled to Cuba, previously insisted Lindsay, 27, had nothing to do with the confrontation. He claimed he got into an altercation with Barron, who suffered lasting damage to his face, after the 24-year-old socialite refused to leave the house.
He said: ”My friend’s name was on the lease of this mansion and we didn’t want anyone to trash it, so we started kicking people out. Eventually things got so heated that (Barron) pushed me. And that’s when the alleged assault, which of course I deny, took place.”
*Someone used the death of Nelson Mandela to play a Twitter prank on Paris Hilton.
“RIP Nelson Mandela,” her Photoshopped tweet read. “Your ‘I Have A Dream’ speech was so inspiring. An amazing man.”
Yes, Hilton was supposedly so clueless she confused Mandela with Martin Luther King Jr., the fake tweet would have you believe.
A quick check of Hilton’s verified account at the time the hoax started revealed she was on a plane to Miami, according to the Los Angeles Times. The socialite and reality star was quick to retweet items debunking the hoax, which according to Gossip Cop came from the account @DeletedTweets. And as the name suggests – the fake tweet was soon deleted.
“Just landed & heard the sad new[s] about Nelson Mandela,” Hilton (really) wrote Thursday after touching down in Miami. “He was a true Hero & the world is a better place because of him. May he rest in peace.”
Eleven minutes later, she let loose.
“Whoever made that stupid fake tweet lacks respect to the loss the world is mourning right now. Same goes for all the blogs who ran with it.”
The “stupid fake tweet,” which included an image of the purported message, was first circulated right around the time lots of news organizations were reacting to the former South African president’s death, and harvesting celebrity reactions to his passing.
In the wee hours Friday morning, Hilton was still ticked off, tweeting, “I’m so sick of people lying about me & using my name. Please get a life & stop talking about mine. It’s beyond. #URPathetic #GetYourOwnLife”

*Socialite Paris Hilton is working on her second album, to be released under a new deal with Cash Money Records.
The former reality show star joins a roster that includes Busta Rhymes, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Birdman and Lil Wayne, according to Rap-Up.com.
Roger Friedman of Showbiz 411 reported: “The big news: this nightfly who is really a successful businesswoman is recording her second album of music right now. It will be issued by Cash Money Records and will feature many hip hop acts such as Lil Wayne. Paris told me Afrojack is producing it, and she hopes to have it out this summer.”
“This is a lot different than my first album. It’s really going to be house music,” Paris said.
*We already know Lil Wayne is insane for all the reasons you can think of.
But he put the cherry on top when he decided to give Paris Hilton another shot at musical stardom.
Remember her tremendously heinous attempt to sing back in 2006? Apparently it wasn’t enough to keep her away from the mic, unfortunately. So he and gone and co-signed the girl who is famous for being a ditz, by giving her a verse for a song on her upcoming album.
Weezy is actually on a track with the blonde, rapping about how he wants to rock Paris Hilton’s world, along with some other things, referring to her famed sex tape. He sings, “Excuse my french, but f**k the cameras / I wanna spend a night in Paris.”
Ew, imagine a sex tape with Lil Wayne and a ditz named Paris.
