*During the recent 2013 NAACP Theatre Awards red carpet, our associate, LaCora Stephens, caught up with “Scandal” actor Joe Morton.
After informing us the season will consist of a lot of flashbacks into Olivia Pope’s dysfunctional family, where he is known as her devious father, he frantically disputed pregnancy rumors for the “Scandal” star, Kerry Washington.
According to Morton, he not seen a pregnancy bump, nor has he heard her say it from her mouth. Therefore, he refused to speak on the “rumors.” He went on to say, “I have no idea if any of this is even true.”
*Stars Beyoncé, Cynthia Bailey, Meagan Good and Tia Mowry-Hardrict have all been victims of baby bump rumors.
Meagan lightly dismissed her pregnant gossip after she admittedly ate too much pizza.
Well Tia made it clear that assuming that someone is pregnant when they’re not is not exactly a compliment.
“Being told you have a baby bump when you work out is a pretty big insult,” Tia said on a recent episode of “Tia & Tamera.” “It’s not a nice feeling when someone thinks that you’re pregnant when you’re not pregnant.”
Tia also noted that besides not wanting a bulging belly pointed out, those types of assumptions can potentially harm careers.
“I have to have my manager clarify if this is a rumor or not,” she said on the show, reminding viewers that her “Instant Mom” character is not supposed to be pregnant.
“People can talk and people can blog and all of that. I just don’t like when it affects what I do for a living,” she said.
The rumors did in fact motivate Tia to step her workout game up and even has since posted pictures of flat tummy and ripped abs to social media sites.
“I can’t have that mistake happen again. I can’t risk walking into a meeting and having executives think I’m pregnant,” she said.
*On Saturday, Beyonce headlined an all-star, girl-powered concert in London to call attention to the plight of women around the world. The show aired Sunday night on NBC, but all folks are talking about Monday morning is a pic she Tumblr’d that appears to dispel recent rumors that she is pregnant.
The 31-year-old, currently on her Mrs. Carter world tour, recently flooded her Tumblr page with a variety of photos from her global travels. One in particular [seen above] shows Bey sitting on the lap of her husband Jay-Z, 43, sipping a glass of what appears to be red wine.
Furthermore, she posted a close-up of a wine bottle, as well a photo of cases upon cases of wine in the restaurant.
Folks today have taken the photos as Bey’s way of saying she’s not pregnant — and not that she suddenly chose to flaunt a decision to drink alcohol if she were.
The pic comes on the heels of her June 1 performance at The Sound of Change Live concert, held at London’s Twickenham Stadium as part of Chime For Change, a global campaign for improved education, health and justice for women and girls worldwide.

Bey co-founded the effort along with Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini, and actress Salma Hayek Pinault. In addition to Beyonce, the performance lineup included Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Florence + the Machine, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Haim, Iggy Azalea, Rita Ora, Timbaland and Laura Pausini.
Also, Madonna was on hand to introduce Emmy- and Oscar-winning Pakistani documentary filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy. And appearing on stage for the cause were Blake Lively, James Franco, Jessica Chastain, Ryan Reynolds, Zoe Saldana, Jada Pinkett Smith and more.

Some 50,000 in attendance saw the acts perform in between calls for audience members to head to Facebook and find a cause to support.
The show also featured several surprise collaborations. Lopez, after performing a set complete with costume changes, special effects and dancers which included her current single, “Live It Up,” followed by “Get Right,” “Love Don’t Cost A Thing,” “Jenny From The Block” and “Hold It Don’t Drop It,” pulled out Mary J. Blige for a cover of the “Come Together.” [Scroll down to watch.] She closed her set with “On The Floor,” releasing shooting cannons of white confetti up in the air as she exited the stage.

*Beyonce has finally addressed current rumors that she is pregnant with her second child.
Reports gathered pace on Friday when E! news claimed that “multiple sources” had confirmed the news.
In response, Beyonce posted a cryptic message on her Instagram account in which she seems to deny the rumors, while calling out “low lives” who talk about her.
She wrote: “I can’t stop the rumors from starting, and I can’t really change peoples minds who believe them, all I can do is sit back and laugh at these low life people who have nothing better to do than talk about me.”
Whispers that she was expecting first started early last week, and then the talk went into overdrive when she canceled a date of her world tour, claiming she was suffering from “dehydration and exhaustion.”
*Beyonce’s cancellation of tonight’s scheduled concert in Belgium has sent her baby rumor mill spinning out of control.
The New York Post started the speculation Monday with speculation that Bey and Jay-Z are expecting again, based in part on the “high-belted” Givenchy gown she wore at the recent Met Gala that appeared to camouflage a baby bump.
Tonight’s Mrs. Carter Show tour stop in Antwerp has been cancelled due to “dehydration and exhaustion,” further fuelling the pregnancy rumors. A statement from her publicist says: “Beyonce has been advised by her doctors to rest.”
The Mrs. Carter Show world tour kicked off on April 15th and so far, Beyonce has done 20 shows.
