*A week after announcing her engagement to boyfriend Matt Rutler, multiple outlets are reporting that Christina Aguilera is also expecting their first child together.
Aguilera, 33, and Rutler, 29, have been dating since 2010, following Aguilera’s breakup with her ex-husband, Jordan Bratman. The singer and periodic judge on NBC’s “The Voice” has welcomed her 6-year-old son, Max, with Bratman in 2008.
Although Aguilera was eager to share news of her engagement — she posted a photo of her sparkling ring on Twitter on February 14 — she has yet to say a peep about the pregnancy reports. However, the streets are talking.

*Evelyn Lozada announced today that she and her Los Angeles Dodgers fiancé Carl Crawford are expecting a baby boy.
“Surprisingly, I found out when I had my first trimester screening,” she told People. “I was about 13 weeks when they told me the sex. I was honestly praying for a boy. I have wanted to have a son for years.”
The “Basketball Wives” star has a 20-year-old daughter Shaniece from a previous relationship. She was by her mom’s side when the baby’s gender was revealed.
“We were both so happy. There are all girls on my side, so this will be our first boy. My family is over the moon,” Lozada, who is due in March, told the magazine. “Every time I go to the doctor, I have them check to make sure it’s a boy. I’m still in disbelief!”
*Ciara has finally confirmed reports she is pregnant with her first child by showing off her baby bump Tuesday on “The View.”
The singer became engaged to her rapper boyfriend, Future, in October. That’s when the rumors of her pregnancy started after Ciara appeared to be with child during a performance at the Paper Magazine Nightlife Awards in New York.
Future fueled the speculation by dodging questions about the baby claims during a radio interview in November, but Ciara decided to come clean today during her appearance on “The View.”
*There will be less “Scandal” on ABC‘s schedule this season than originally planned.
According to Deadline.com, the network has cut down the order for the sizzling Shonda Rhimes drama from 22 to 18 episodes. The network wouldn’t give a reason for the reduction but, it would appear to be because of Kerry Washington’s pregnancy.
Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva writes:
It is not because ABC doesn’t want a full season of Scandal — it would gladly take 40 episodes a season from its new flagship drama series if it could. But Scandal star Kerry Washington is pregnant, and it’s getting hard to hide the pregnancy in loose-fitting clothes for the normally super stylish and elegant Olivia Pope — and it’s hard to reduce Washington’s workload as Pope is the show and in most scenes.
The episode reduction would probably be an unexpected but welcome relief for Scandal‘s writers as it is extremely hard to sustain a dense serialized drama like Scandal for a 22-episode season. (The show did seven episodes in Season 1 and 22 in Season 2.)
Scandal cannot be hotter — season-to-date, the series is up 57% in adults 18-49 (4.4) and 50% in total viewers (12.6 million) vs. last year. It is the fastest-growing returning series this season and in the so-important C3 ratings that determine ad revenues, Scandal just moved ahead of NBC’s breakout The Blacklist (3.58 rating vs. 3.55).
Scandal also has been regularly building on its Grey’s Anatomy lead-in, by a best-ever 29% last night. A pregnancy of a series’ leading lady has led to shortening a season before, most recently with HBO’s True Blood and Anna Paquin.
