*Legal trouble for Apollo Nida is making waves for his wife Phaedra Parks.
A spin-off show starring Parks is in danger of not airing , thanks to Nida ‘s encounters with the law.
But a source at Bravo, who produces the “Real Housewives” series, revealed that the series could be placed on hold while TV chiefs wait to see the outcome of what happens to Nida, who faces years of jail time if he is found guilty. “All options are being looked at,” said an executive with Bravo TV.
Kenya Moore auctions bachelors at her fundraiser event for Saving our Daughters and NeNe Leakes on “Real Housewives of Atlanta”
*On Sunday’s episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kenya Moore threw a fundraiser for the charity Saving Our Daughters, and for some reason used the occasion to honor NeNe Leakes, who refers to the organization as one of several charities she supports.
After NeNe reluctantly showed up and threw shade during the event (because she claimed Kenya never formally invited her), Kenya proudly said she raised “thousands of dollars” for the group anyway.
Well, Saving Our Daughters says they haven’t seen a dime.
“Ms. Kenya Moore stated that thousands of dollars were raised at this event. To protect the integrity of Saving Our Daughters, our records show that we did not receive any of the proceeds raised from Ms. Moore’s masquerade ball,” read a press release from the organization.
*Apollo Nida just caught a break from the Atlanta courts.
A judge has granted his request to delay his identity theft and fraud trial until March, reports Radar Online.
In court documents that were filed on February 14 and obtained by Radar, a federal judge wrote, “The Court finds that the ends of justice served by granting the motion to continue outweighs the public’s and defendant’s interest in a speedy trial. Specifically, this delay will allow the parties time necessary to discuss a resolution of the allegations.”
*Another “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member has been swept up in the drama surrounding the arrest of Phaedra Parks’ husband, Apollo Nida, on multiple counts of fraud and identity theft.
Over the weekend, her co-star Cynthia Bailey denied new reports that her husband, Nida’s friend Peter Thomas, was also part of the alleged scam.
“I can’t speak on Apollo, but I can say that Peter Thomas doesn’t have anything to do with a bank fraud scandal to my knowledge,” Bailey told Jet magazine. “The feds are not sitting outside of our house. That is just not accurate information …”
*Rumors of Porsha Williams expecting a bundle of joy have turned out to be just that, rumors.
Although her desire to be a mom is no secret, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star squashed all pregnancy chatter surrounding her with a response on Instagram.
