*DreamWorks Animation has tapped Rihanna to create a concept album based on its upcoming film “Home,” due November in theaters. She will also perform new songs in the film, reports Variety.
DWA chief Jeffrey Katzenberg announced the news during the company’s fourth quarter and full 2013 year earnings results on Tuesday.
“Home,” formerly known as “Happy Smekday!,” is based on Adam Rex’s book “The True Meaning of Smekday” and features the voices of Rihanna, Jim Parsons, Jennifer Lopez and Steve Martin.
*Eminem and Rihanna will follow up their recent No. 1 hit “The Monster” with a summer tour.
The pair will hit the road together for The Monster Tour this August, XXL has reported (and Eminem has tweeted).
The trek will hit stadiums in New York, Los Angeles, and his hometown of Detroit, Eminem told XXL.
