*Thanks to SandraRose.com, we’ve got snaps of Mr. and Mrs. LeBron James. No, not wedding day pics, but their first day-after photos.
Sunday afternoon, even though they don’t look like starry-eyed newlyweds, they appeared for the first time as man and wife after saying “I do” at in an intimate wedding ceremony in San Diego on Saturday.
Savannah’s wedding ring was on full display as they stepped out in public for the first time as a legally married couple.
As we reported earlier, among others, Beyonce and Jay Z, also attended the ceremony. Reports say Beyonce sang as Savannah cried tears of joy.
*Miami Heat star Lebron James married longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson in San Diego on Saturday.
Sources close to the couple say that the wedding took place at the Grand Del Mar Hotel and included about 200 guests.
James and Brinson have yet to give out any details regarding their ceremony and so the sources spoke under anonymity. They had a three day celebration including the ceremony on Saturday and a brunch on Sunday
James and Brinson have been together since high school and have two sons.
James popped the big question just after midnight on Jan. 1, 2012 in Miami Beach.
The wedding included extreme security measures to keep the specific details from the press and public. Even guests were unclear of the exact details in the days leading up to the event.
The guests arrived with umbrellas to shield their identity and were taken to the wedding area, which was covered in tents.
Heat owner Micky Arison, coach Erik Spoelstra and many of James’ teammates including Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were on the guest list.
None of the guests released any details about the wedding Saturday and word is no cell phones were allowed during the ceremony.
While Brinson told the AP last spring that she was both excited and nervous about the big day, James simply stated “that Savannah gets whatever she wants on her day, the wedding day she always dreamed of.”
LeBron James & Savannah Brinson
*The time has come for LeBron James and Savannah Brinson to become Mr. and Mrs.
The two high school sweethearts will do just that this weekend in the midst of a three-day celebration.
The wedding and celebration will be in San Diego and won’t match the spectacle of the Michael Jordan affair from last April that over 2000 people at his nuptials, according to the NY Post.
“He cut the list down because he didn’t want to have 1,000 people at the wedding,” the source said.
Here’s an overview of what’s going to happen: A barbecue on Friday, the wedding on Saturday and a farewell brunch on Sunday. Sources speculate that the wedding will be held at the Grand Del Mar or Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego.
James proposed to Brinson on December 31, 2011. They are the parents of two sons.
The countdown to Lebron James and his fiance, Savannah Brinson’s wedding is underway.
A few weeks ago, Savannah and her girlfriends took over Las Vegas for her bachelorette party.
And over the weekend, the festivities continued with Savannah’s bridal shower. Savannah’s close friends and family helped her celebrate rocking #LastFlingBeforeTheRing T-Shirts.

*The date is set for LeBron and Savannah.
As we reported earlier in the week, the wedding of the year … well, as far as some folks are concerned … is going down between the Miami Heat b-ball superstar and the mother of his two children.
According to reports, the couple sent out “Save the Weekend” notes to family and friends asking them to block off September 13-15 on their calendars. As usual, TMZ got their hands on what is said to be the invite and you can see it below.
Unfortunately, for some, the date is a problem because it’s the beginning of Yom Kippur; it will no doubt cause a conflict with many of the couple’s Jewish friends.
The card, which revealed that the ceremony wil take place in San Diego, came with a cute caricature of the couple and their two young boys—LeBron Jr., 8, and Bryce, 5—wearing their finest wedding attire.
The couple got engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2011 at a private party in Miami. James gave Brinson a seven-carat pear-shaped engagement ring.
*Miami Heat star LeBron James reportedly went down in flames at the hands (and choreographed feet) of his fiancée in an old-fashioned dance off Wednesday night.
It all went down at the Motown Revue Presented by Hublot in Coral Gables, Fla., where James and his teammates Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and Ray Allen faced off with their female dates, including James’s fiancée Savannah Brinson.
With the guests in the house serving as the de facto judging panel and the Miami Heat dancers providing a quick lesson, both teams “did old school Motown-style moves,” an eyewitness tells People.com, “but the guys deviated and put their own twist on it, while the girls stuck with their routine.”
Ultimately, the ladies were declared the victors. “A joking LeBron grabbed the mic and said, ‘OK fans, the ladies are playing on Friday night, not me!’” says the onlooker.
Despite losing to his fiancé, James and Brinson, who got engaged on New Year’s Eve, were beaming throughout the entire event, which raised $1.3 million for local charities and featured champagne by Dom Perignon and food served by Smith & Wollensky.
“When the guys lost to the girls, he made the joke and embraced her for a big kiss,” says the onlooker. “They were very loving. Later, when they posed for pictures, he made her laugh and gave her a huge kiss on the cheek. The two seemed really happy from the second they walked in until the second they left. They are very lovely people!”
