*Lil Scrappy was M.I.A. at both “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” premiere parties in ATL and NYC last week.
But his fiancée and co-star Erica Dixon said they’re still engaged and he missed out because he has some legal issues.
Um, the rapper has a warrant out for his arrest in Georgia for using someone else’s urine for a weed test.
In 2008, Scrappy was arrested on a weed charge and part of his probation is to submit urine tests. But according to his P.O., he submitted pee that was cold to the touch.
Officials suspect the urine was tampered with.
As a result, he was asked to redo the test on the spot, but he refused. So a warrant was issued.
According to TMZ, his lawyer, Mawuli Mel Davis says he did nothing wrong and plans to appear in court on May 16 to address the issue.
“It is our hope that the judge will recall the revocation warrant that is currently pending against Mr. Richardson.”
He continued, “Since Mr. Richardson’s release from jail, he has been reporting to probation as ordered and doing his best to comply with all conditions of probation.”
Scrappy is allegedly turning himself in “shortly.”
Emily Bustamonte & Fabolous
*Emily Bustamante from “Love & Hip Hop” (New York) is her own person, so stop comparing her to Mimi Faust (“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta”).
The reality star got real with HipHopWired.com recently, saying that yes she can relate to Mimi to some extent regarding her relationship with rapper Fabolous, but her experience was totally different.
“You know, I get a little upset when they compare characters because I’m nothing like any of those women,” Emily said. “My story is not like any of those stories. I don’t see Fab in any of those men in that show at all. No offense to them, but nobody knows [how it is].”
She added that no one really knows who Fab is because he’s a private dude and doesn’t put his life on Front Street like some of his peers.
“Y’all get to see the Stevie Js and the Lil’ Scrappys and nobody really knows who Fab is or what he does or what he’s about,” Emily stated. “People just make assumptions and it really bothers me because he was never on camera for you to make that assumption so people really don’t know.”
Emily did, however, say she can understand the difficulty of maintaining a solid relationship while in the industry.
She admits she felt for Mimi when they spoke, but some of her issues are so far removed from her own experience.
