*Singer Sean Kingston was confronted by police in the Dominican Republic last weekend after a misunderstanding with club managers over an $8,771 bar tab.
The artist was partying with friends at Euphoria on Saturday when venue managers told him they would “take care of” him during his stay.
According to TMZ, Kingston thought they meant the drinks were on the house, so he and his crew took advantage by racking up the $8,771 bill before leaving – only for cops to track him down Sunday and threaten to detain him if he didn’t settle up.

*In the wake of gang rape allegations, a Canadian University has nixed Sean Kingston’s scheduled appearance.
The singer was scheduled to hit the stage and perform at the University of Western Ontario on September 7th for its’s Orientation week. But the school shut the appearance down saying, “Having Mr. Kingston perform could cloud the values surrounding O-Week,” adding the school has “zero tolerance for sexual assault.”
Recently TMZ initially reported that Kingston was being sued by a 22-year-old woman who claimed he, his bodyguard and a member of his band forced her to have sex with them back in 2010 inside Sean’s hotel room.
Instead of going to trail, Kingston chose to settle the suit, but still insists the sex was consensual. Prosecutors may have felt the same way because they rejected a criminal case.
*Sources close to Sean Kingston told TMZ that the singer has settled with 22-year-old girl who accused him and his former bodyguards of gang rape back in 2010.
According to the sources, Kingston decided to settle because of his hectic schedule including upcoming tour and new album release. They insist he did not settle because he’s admitting guilt.
The sources also revealed that the singer paid the alleged victim only a fraction of what she was suing for in order to make the lawsuit disappear as quickly as possible. The exact amount was not disclosed.
Just like the criminal charges he beat three years ago, Kingston reportedly felt that he could’ve won this case had it went to trial.
As one source said, “Her story wasn’t consistent. She told various stories throughout her interviews with police. Her friend’s story wasn’t consistent with hers. The medical report had no indications of force.”
As we reported, Kingston acknowledged having sex with the girl — when she was 19 — but said the sex was consensual. The lawsuit is expected to be dismissed shortly.

*Reggae singer Sean Kingston‘s got himself – along with his bodyguard and a member of his band – in some mess.
Basically they are accused of gang raping as drunk teenager in Kingston’s hotel room back in 2010, according to a recently filed lawsuit. However, Kingston says it’s unwarranted.
Here’s what TMZ is reporting:
Carissa Capeloto — now 22 — claims she was forced to have sex with Sean, his bodyguard and a member of Sean’s band at a Seattle hotel in July, 2010, after she had smoked pot and downed 7-10 shots of vodka.
Capeloto — who has sued all 3 men — alleges she’d been invited to Kingston’s hotel room for a meet-and-greet following a Bieber concert — where Kingston had also performed — but when she showed up … Kingston was waiting naked on his bed.
Capeloto claims the bodyguard picked her up and placed her on top of Kingston, and all three of the men proceeded to gang rape her while she was “obviously intoxicated, incapable of consent.”
Capeloto says her friend later entered the room and rescued her. The police were called and Capeloto was taken to the hospital where she says she was treated for physical injuries consistent with rape.
She says her life has been ruined … she can barely sleep, has mood swings and panic attacks. Capeloto wants $5 mil minimum.
Sounds bad. Really bad. But interestingly, criminal charges against Kingston were dropped in 2010 after authorities concluded Capeloto’s case was basically BS.
Meanwhile, Kingston has filed legal docs insisting the sex was 100% consensual.
A November trial date has been set.
*Dancehall singer Sean Kingston is looking shadier and shadier.
The latest news about Kingston is that he’s been ordered to pay a former landlord $77,856.71 for nearly destroying her Miami Beach rental then walking away from the lease.
Interestingly, Kingston never responded to the landlord’s lawsuit and was even fired by his lawyer, according to reports
The default judgment papers show the singer – whose real name is Kesean Anderson – his mother Janice Turner and his management company, Eyes Above Water, will also lose their $25,000-security deposit on the South Florida waterfront home.
The landlord, Catherine Arrizhi, stated in a lawsuit filed in May that Kingston not only walked away with $50,000 worth of rent owed, he also left the place with broken showers and dock railings, holes in walls and messed up landscaping.
Kingston says he moved out and relocated to LA because the mansion was near the spot where he nearly died in a jet-ski accident last year.
Meanwhile, according to Gossip Extra, the IRS has been trying for two years to recoup $512,708 from Kingston in unpaid taxes!
Hmm, with that in mind, good luck landlord lady in trying to get your money from this dude.
