At his Sunday concert at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, the 36-year-old – still wearing his wedding ring – took a break mid-concert to interact with the crowd. A fan yelled out to Thicke, “I love Paula!”
The declaration prompted the singer to state one of his own: “I do too,” he said passionately. Following the interaction, he sang Green’s “Let’s Stay Together.”

News broke Monday that Thicke and actress Paula Patton, high school sweethearts, have separated following nine years of marriage. There are also reports that the split was triggered by Thicke’s sexually-charged onstage antics with Miley Cyrus at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The “Blurred Lines” crooner was back performing last night and told crowds in Fairfax, Virginia, he was trying to get back into his wife’s good graces.

*Robin Thicke posted a message on his website today thanking fans for their support following his separation from his wife and canceled tour dates.
The singer said he’d like to “thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days.”
Thicke and actress Paula Patton announced Monday they are separating after nine years of marriage. They have a 3-year-old son, Julian Fuego.

Sources connected with the singer tell TMZ he’s resuming his tour on Thursday in Washington D.C., but he will NOT go out on the town — something he liked doing in the past.

*Paula Patton reportedly told Robin Thicke on Friday the marriage was over, causing the singer to cancel his concert in Atlanta that night and fly to Canada to beg the actress to stay – this according to TMZ.
Sources connected with the couple tell the website that Patton, who is in Vancouver shooting a film, had a long face-to-face talk with the crooner, both acknowledging they had not been getting along and frequently arguing.
TMZ cites sources who say in the end Robin realized Paula was determined to end the marriage and reluctantly agreed, but was very upset. The actress was also said to be upset, according to the website.
