According to the former “Sister, Sister” star, her marriage to and Fox News correspondent Adam Housley has been the catalyst for a lot of the comments directed at her.
*As a compliment to its reality show Tia & Tamera,” Style Media has acquired rights to air the twins’ 90s hit sitcom “Sister, Sister.”
Episodes from the first season will run weekday mornings throughout the summer, beginning with back to back shows on Monday, July 9 at 7 a.m. ET/PT. An all-new episode of the popular docu-series “Tia & Tamera” premieres Monday, July 9 at 8pm ET/PT.
“Sister, Sister” follows twins Tia Landry (Tia Mowry) and Tamera Campbell (Tamera Mowry) who are reunited during a chance encounter shopping at the mall with their adoptive parents. Now that they have found each other, Tamera convinces her adopted father, Ray (Tim Reid), to allow Tia and her adopted mother, Lisa (Jackée Harry), to move in with them.
While the Sisters may look identical, they have very different personalities and upbringings – Tia is a top student who grew up in inner-city Detroit and Tamera is a boy-crazy teen from the suburbs. Together, this unconventional blended family is learning life lessons through laughter and love.
On the new episode of “Tia & Tamera” (Mondays at 8pm ET/PT), which follows the twin Sisters as they embark on major life transformations, Tia, who has been in Utah for several weeks filming her new movie, begins to feel homesick without her husband and sister. Even though she and Tamera had a fight and haven’t spoken in a while, Tia invites Tamera and their cousin Jerome for a visit. She also needs her sister’s support because she has been feeling unwell and her symptoms are suspiciously similar to how she felt when she was pregnant with Cree.
After being a guest on “Hollywood Girls Night,” Tamera is eager to tackle her next project but feels that her unresolved issues with Tia following their last fight are holding her back.
*“Sister Sister” vet Tia Mowry is about to become a Mother Mother.
Mowry — who acted opposite her identical twin, Tamera, on the ’90s sitcom and now stars on BET’s “The Game” — is due July 3, her rep confirms to Us Weekly.
The baby will be the first child for Mowry, 32, and her husbande of two years, “Battle: Los Angeles” actor Cory Hardrict, 31, and the pregnancy will be documented by the Style Network for a show to air later this year.
“We are both so excited to be parents,” the couple tells Us in a statement. “We have been wanting this a long time!”
*Tamera Mowry (Sister Sister star) is getting ready for a wedding! She’s engaged to her former fiancé, Fox News correspondent Adam Housley, who previously proposed to her.
“Adam proposed to Tamera last week in Italy,” a source close to the couple told E! Online. “They were engaged a few years ago, but broke it off. They have been dating on and off for the past year and now he has put a ring on her finger once again.”
But it doesn’t look like her family is too excited about it.
The source also said, “Her family is not crazy about him. Tia and Adam don’t always get along, but the couple are happy together and giving it another try… They haven’t started planning the wedding. But it will most likely be at his family’s vineyard in Napa.”
*Television’s 90s sweethearts are back in action on the Style Network. A half hour special will star “Sister, Sister” twins Tia and Tamera Mowry.
Nothing is set in stone yet, but Style is playing with a few show name ideas like “Tia and Tamera Take 2.” The show as of now is not permanent, but it will be taken into consideration after the results come in.
Since their 90s debut, the girls have gone their separate show biz ways and starred in different night time shows. This show, however, will capture the twins in their every day live. It debuts July 17 at 10:30 p.m.
