*All the “L&HH:H” fans out there should not be expecting to see LeToya Luckett and Slim Thug on the spin-off series “Love & Hip Hop: Houston” any time soon.
Rumors got out last week about Luckett and her ex, Slim Thug, being cast to star in the Mona Scott-Young series, but the former couple have denied their involvement with the show.
“Hey LOVES!!!!! So yeaaaaa NO! I am NOT on the new season of ‘Love & Hip Hop Houston,’” LeToya said in a message posted to Instagram. “Not sure where that even came from, BUT u can catch me on season 3 of ‘Single Ladies’ on VH1 #Felicia.”
Slim Thug shut the rumors down by tweeting, “The #LHHH thing is a rumor.” He clarified that tweet with this one: “Well at least the part that says I’m on it.”
Mona Scott has cleared the air about the rumors as well, but implied that there might in fact be other cities in the works. She told TheYBF.com”
“That list is completely fabricated. No final cast decisions have been made about any of the cities we looked at.”
*Not long after word got out that Mona Scott-Young would be expanding her “Love & Hip Hop” franchise with three new cities, Los Angeles, Houston and New Orleans, did reports that rappers Slim Thug and Willie D and singer LeToya Luckett joining the Houston cast surface.
Houston’s on Slim Thug, known for hits like Beyonce’s “Check On It” and his own “Still Tippin,: is said to be making his reality TV debut with the Houston spin-off. In the past Slim Thug was in a relationship with ex-Destiny’s Child member LeToya Luckett who is also said to be rounding out the roster.
According to TheYBF, LeToya signed on to the Houston cast and we might get to see her and Slim Thug work through some unfinished business. Rumor has that the two of them broke up years ago when Slim got some other girl pregnant.
Slim recently faced allegations of fathering an 11-year-old boy and was taken to court by the woman for back child support. But he took to Twitter recently to reveal that he was not the father and had a vasectomy to shut down any future claims.
*Last week rapper Slim Thug underwent a vasectomy procedure because he apparently doesn’t want to add to his already large family.
This news is quite different than the usual for hip hop artists who we too often find in the middle of baby mama drama. Slim Thug, who has three children from three different mothers, has maintained a good rep in terms of taking care of his children and decided to go under the knife to keep from adding to the equation.
The rapper took to Twitter to tell the world that there will be no new additions to his family, saying “#NoNewKids #NoNewBabymamas #NoMoChildSupport #NoLittleGirl just me and my 3 Boyz.”
But Slim didn’t stop at having work done on his manhood, the Houston rapper also had bunions removed from his feet, which he also shared via a post-op photo on Twitter. ”
Up early getting ready to have surgery on my raggedy ass feet again hopefully this the last time.”
Take a look at his “raggedy ass (FRANKENSTEIN) feet” below. Yuck!
*Unlike Lakers management, a whole bunch of Lakers fans aren’t quite convinced Dwight Howard is worth fighting for, based on his play this past season. However, there’s one Houston based rapper who’s doing his best to woo D12 to H-Town.
That rapper would be Slim Thug who’s using Twitter to appeal to Howard to move his talents away from Kobe and LA and choose the Houston Rockets as his next team. You could say this is taking recruiting up to a whole ‘nother level or taking it down, depending on your point of view.
“Yooo @DwightHoward what uppp gone come down to Houston G we got ya u already know Kobe gone act like a girl and blame u all season,” tweeted Slim Thug to Dwight Howard. “We real out here u can buy a big ass crib for cheap ill throw u a few assist on h0es make your next move your best move G.”
Check out more of the tweets below from Slim Thug. In the meantime, the Los Angeles Lakers have put up billboards all over town letting Dwight know that he’s wanted in the worst way. And on top of that, Time Warner, which owns the rights to Lakers games locally, is pitching Howard about having his own TV show if he stays with LA, reports Black Sports Online. And “knowing how much Dwight loves attention, this sort of pitch might actually work,” says Larry Brown Sports.
And speaking of attention, that’s just what Dwight Howard is getting from various teams/cities other than Los Angeles – like the Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks – who all desire his services.
But as far as Slim Thug is concerned, Houston is the spot for D12 ’cause H-Town has better strippers, lower child support payment percentages and he won’t have to deal with you-know-who:

*Beyoncé certainly made a stir when she came out with “Bow Down” and now she’s about to send wigs flying with the remix.
Last week the song debuted with mixed reviews, but most everyone was shocked. She came out with guns blazing, repping Houston hard to the core with some of that H-Town chopped-and-screwed style.
But she’s going even harder with a remix possibly with Scarface, Willie D., Slim Thug, Kirko Bangz, Lil KeKe and Bun B.
Here’s what MTV News wrote about the song/remix:
The track, which features production from Hit-Boy, Timbaland and a host of others, plays out in two parts. On the first, Beyoncé commands her female adversaries to praise all that she’s done, singing to them “bow down bitches.” The “I Been On” half of the track finds her in full-on rap mode, however, spitting bars in a slow, pitched-down style of rhyme patterned after DJ Screw’s syrup-soaked mixtapes from the 1990s. Bey also shouts out Geto Boys rap vet Willie D. and pays respects to the late Pimp C of UGK.
Whoa, “Bow Down” is already wild enough. Just wait until the remix comes out.
Meanwhile, check out what Bun B has to say about the influence of the Houston sound:
*The stork has paid a visit to Slim Thug.
The rapper’s ex-girlfriend gave birth to their son, Dreux Mason, earlier this month – according to a tweet from the artist. He didn’t share the news right away because he was waiting for a paternity test to be completed.
Tweeting a pic of the newborn on Wednesday [see below], he wrote, “Today is a Big day… The results are in I Am the father my new son Dreux Mason another legend is born.”
Slim Thug, real name Stayve Jerome Thomas, is already enjoying fatherhood. He added: “Thanks for all the congrats and thank God for another blessing… I changed… one diaper and held him this time ima (I’m going to) be more hands on #DaddyThugga”.
Although he’s thrilled with little Dreux, the rapper insists he’s done with having kids, joking, “Ima get a vasectomy.”
