*Dennis Rodman has been lying low of late, but apparently he’s been frequenting a few strip clubs.
It looks like the Basketball Hall of Famer will be holding tryouts for a topless women’s basketball team, according to Yahoo Sports Blog.
He will be auditioning the lucky lasses from the Headquarters Gentlemen’s Club in New York City to play a charity game against another topless women’s basketball team from another club.

Rodman apparently dreamed up the team after hearing that rival strip joint Rick’s Cabaret launched a league with former Atlanta Hawk’s Spud Webb, who runs the Texas Legends, an NBA Development League Team.

Rodman has already challenged Rick’s Cabaret’s topless team to a charity game.
“I don’t know too many men that don’t like a good-looking woman running up and down around the court,” Rodman said.
We’re sure the chosen candidates will have plenty of bounce. Especially when they’re topless, eh, Dennis?

According to the Detroit News, Pugh was on a local gospel channel with Marvin Winans, pastor of Perfecting Church, comparing the rights of African Americans in this country to strippers and the proposed restrictions on their clientele in the clubs.
He was quoted saying, “You’re making a judgment about what’s being sold. Some people made a judgment against African-Americans having the audacity of walking in the front door,” Pugh said. “I’m talking about discrimination. I’m talking about targeting laws against law-abiding businesses.” (more…)
