*With a post on Instagram, Tamar Braxton revealed the name of her newborn son I Logan Vincent Herbert.
“Happy Father’s Day to the love of my life, my best friend, my husband Vincent Herbert! Our son Logan Vincent Herbert & I are proud to share this day with you!! We love you soooooo much!!” she posted Sunday evening, along with the above pic of the baby grabbing Vincent’s finger.
Braxton gave birth to her son on Thursday, June 6, and soon after posted a photo of three blue teddy bears surrounded by balloons with the caption, “He’s here!” on Instagram.
The singer, 36, and husband Vince Herbert first announced their pregnancy in March, when she was seven months along. The couple, married in 2008, have yet to reveal photos of the newborn’s face, but there is sure to be plenty of baby footage when the couple’s show “Tamar & Vince” returns to WE tv on Sept 5.
*New parents Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert will return for a second season of their We tv series “Tamar & Vince.”
The network announced Tuesday that the “Braxton Family Values” spinoff focused on the family’s most outspoken sister will see a second season premiere on Sept. 5
We tv also announced the renewal of “Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?” for a fourth run to air in early 2014.
“Tamar, Joan and Melissa are talented, refreshing women that we’re delighted to have on WE tv for new seasons of their popular shows,” said network senior vp of original production and development Lauren Gellert. “These are real women dealing with real issues in the scrutiny of the spotlight with style and grace, and we are so happy WE tv viewers will again be along for these entertaining rides.”
“Tamar & Vince,” produced for the network by Magical Elves, delivered a gross 5.6 million viewers during its freshman run.
*If ever there was a time to be private, childbirth would be appropriate. Ain’t no body got time for that!
But Tamar Braxton wants to share the experience with her fans and followers via the next season of “Tamar & Vince.” Maybe this episode should be called, “Tamar” because she’s moving forward with the taping of those precious, gut-wrenching moments despite her husband’s wishes.
“My husband’s not comfortable with any of this,” she stated with a giggle before collecting her thoughts. Tamar is a little more open to the idea because she feels that it’s only right to continue bringing fans along for the rest of the journey that she started last season on “Braxton Family Values” and her own spin-off.
“I think we’re going to let them in as much as we can,” Tamar shared. “You don’t want to bring your viewer all the way to the point where you went through in vitro, then it didn’t happen like that and it happened naturally. I just think it’s a story to tell and not to tell the whole story is kind of unfair.
That aside, the cameras are only allowed to go so far and Tamar has made one stipulation. “You won’t be looking in my purse,” she stated. “My purse is off limits. I don’t even wanna see inside my purse!”
Although we all know that she’s having a boy, thanks to the perfect slip up of friend Tiny, she’s refusing to confirm or deny what she’s having.
I seen [the slip up] and cracked up. I thought it was funny. I can’t confirm or deny because I don’t want to tell anybody,” she said. “You can believe whatever you wanna believe. What I will says is, until you hear from me, you should believe what I say!”
Tamar added, “Tiny, I love her to pieces. She’s crazy. She’s so fun. I don’t think it was malicious. I won’t hold anything against her because I don’t think she spilled any beans.”
*If you have a tween or know a young person between the age of 4 and 16, you probably have heard about the phenomenon that is Mindless Behavior.
The “Mr. Right” L.A. boy band, comprised of Prodigy, Princeton, Ray Ray and Roc Royal, has got all the young girlies going crazy! The easy to look at young men are managed by Vince Herbert (Tamar & Vince, Lady Gaga), and he’s successfully had the group on their own tour, opening up for the Scream Tour, selling platinum records and performing at the official Inaugural Ball. (Yes, Sasha and Malia Obama are huge fans as well!)
EURweb associate Cherise Nicole (CNikky) spoke to the fellas on the red carpet at the NAACP Image Awards. They wanted us to know that they are no longer see themselves as kiddies
“We’re all about the mature side of Mindless Behavior now. You know we’re all older, so we gotta give you the grown man, Ya know!”
The guys were there to support their label mates, the OMG Girlz, who were nominated for the first time. They talked about their manager Vincent Herbert and they told us what Tamar Braxton is like when the cameras stop rolling!
Also, when we asked them how they felt about a serious subject, Bullying, they responded:
“I think it’s the worse thing ever. You know a lot of kids they started committing suicide and doing things like that over it. I just have to say, stop theu bullying, that’s all that really matter and go and tell someone. I think our Mindless Movement stands for that. We all have our techniques that we bring to the group and I was actually bullied in school, so I re-invented myself into Princeton so I’m glad to have a bigger voice to you know..be an influence.”
We also asked them what it was like shooting their new video with director Erik White (GLEE, GLEE Project Lottery Ticket). They spoke about what they like about Erik who’s also helmed videos for Chris Brown, Diddy, Marcus Canty, T.I., Twista and many more.
Check out what they say below and then and watch for the behind the scenes sneak peek of their new video!
