*A week after announcing her engagement to boyfriend Matt Rutler, multiple outlets are reporting that Christina Aguilera is also expecting their first child together.
Aguilera, 33, and Rutler, 29, have been dating since 2010, following Aguilera’s breakup with her ex-husband, Jordan Bratman. The singer and periodic judge on NBC’s “The Voice” has welcomed her 6-year-old son, Max, with Bratman in 2008.
Although Aguilera was eager to share news of her engagement — she posted a photo of her sparkling ring on Twitter on February 14 — she has yet to say a peep about the pregnancy reports. However, the streets are talking.
*Looks like there was more to CeeLo Green’s exit from “The Voice” than what the Goodie Mob member revealed.
An insider with knowledge of Green’s situation revealed that the entertainer’s decision to quit the popular NBC show was done more to avoid being fired by the network and Mark Burnett Productions, the producer of “The Voice.”
Although NBC wanted to join Green in announcing his departure together, a second insider with knowledge of the situation stated that the “F-You” singer opted to drop the news on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
*”Forget You” is what singer CeeLo Green is saying to “The Voice.”
Yep, Green is outta there. In fact, he made the startling announcement on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” as part of an interview that will air on Wednesday. He emphasized that he will not be returning “at all.”
*Tapped as guest mentor for Team Usher on the sixth season of NBC’s “The Voice” — which premieres Feb. 24 — Jill Scott has also been busy juggling two other major projects: a co-starring role in the James Brown biopic “Get On Up” and a new album for Atlantic, reports Billboard.
Given her background as a Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter and spoken word artist plus various theater credits (including a Canadian tour of Broadway musical “Rent”), Scott felt she could truly “be of service” during her “Voice” stint.
“It’s a show I watch and enjoy because singers are really being given an opportunity to sing,” she explains. “It’s not all about the look or the visual. It’s really about the tone of the voice, the passion that lives inside of it.”

*“American Idol” pulled over 11 million viewers on Thursday (Feb. 6), and was the third most-watched program for the night behind the Winter Olympics and “The Big Bang Theory” at No. 1 and 2, respectively.
That being said, Fox’s singing competition is far from the ratings goblin that it was during the glory days of Fantasia and the Velvet Teddy Bear.
Despite the fan-approved return of Jennifer Lopez at the judge’s table next to Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr., Season 13’s Jan. 15 premiere was bittersweet: The episode drew 15 million viewers and won the night, but it was its lowest-rated premiere in history – marking the fourth consecutive year of record low premieres, and continuing an overall ratings slide that began in 2006.
*Lady Gaga hit up the season finale of “The Voice” last night to belt her single “Do What U Want,” with “Voice” coach Christina Aguilera filling in for R. Kelly. (Watch after the jump.)
The pair, who were rumored to be at odds with each other, wore complimentary metallic gold outfits for the occasion. At one point in the performance, they sat next to each other on a sofa as Aguilera stroked the “Applause” singer’s leg and sipped on champagne.
