*Kanye West commandeered the DJ booth at a New York City nightclub on Saturday and reportedly sent the crowd into a frenzy when he surprised them with some of his new tracks, reports the New York Daily News.
The NBA player, currently wrapped in an ugly divorce from Kim Kardashian, took aim at his soon-to-be ex’s current boyfriend while announcing the good news.
Humphries is, of course, making reference to one of West’s lyrics from the song “Way Too Cold” (originally released as “Theraflu”), in which West threatens to use his close friendship with Nets co-owner Jay-Z to have Humphries dropped from the team: “And I’ll admit, I had fell in love with Kim/Around the same time she had fell in love with him/ Well that’s cool, baby girl, do ya thang/ Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team.”

*Kim Kardashian visited her divorce lawyer Laura Wasser in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 24) after her ex-husband Kris Humphries claimed he “knew” that the reality star cheated with rapper Kanye West, whom she is currently dating.
Tracking her every move, the UK’s Daily Mail reports that Kardashian spent hours at the lawyer’s home and left after it was dark. Wasser has previously represented such stars as Heidi Klum, Mariah Carey and Ryan Reynolds.
Kris Humphries allegedly told his former lover Myla Sinanaj that his mother-in-law Kris Jenner would refer to Kanye as a “close family friend.” Kris told Myla, “If he was such a close family friend, why wasn’t he invited to the wedding?”
Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that when Humphries listened to Kanye’s song “Theraflu” – which references the couple’s marriage – he became “visibly upset.”
Last year, Kanye’s ex-girlfriend Amber Rose accused Kim of stealing the rapper from her while she was dating Reggie Bush, telling Star magazine, “She’s a homewrecker! They were both cheating. They were both cheating on me and Reggie with each other.”
Adding to the drama, Kim’s stepfather Bruce Jenner admitted to Oprah Winfrey that he wishes they could take back Kardashian’s nuptials with the NBA player, which took place in a lavish ceremony in Montecito, Calif., yet lasted only 72 days.
*Former couple Chris Brown and Rihanna just quit each other again – this time on Twitter.
Just days after she tweeted him a happy birthday message, the two are no longer following each other.
The reason? According to E!, Brown released a freestyle version of Kanye West’s “Way Too Cold” (formerly “Theraflu”) last night, he could be heard rapping, “Don’t f**k with my old bitch/It’s like a bad fur/Every industry n***a done had her/Shook the tree like a pumpkin just to smash her/B**ch is breaking codes, but I’m the password.” [Scroll down to listen. Speculation quickly began to run rampant that Brown was referring to Rihanna. Apparently, she thought as much, as she immediately unfollowed him.
Soon after, Brown himself stopped following Rihanna, as well as tweeting out the following regarding the rumors: “Assumptions! I didn’t say any names so if u took offense to it then it’s something you feel guilty about.”
All of this comes less than three months after the two joined forces on remixes of each other’s songs.
*An unofficial video for Kanye West’s single “Way Too Cold,” formerly known as “Theraflu,” arrived online today from director Ashley Smith, a.k.a. Ash Innovator.
The clip fetures a mini-Kanye walking through midtown Manhattan with a blonde woman, while a motley crew of Republicans make appearances as masks – including Sarah Palin, Ronald Reagan, Condoleezza Rice, George W. Bush and even Donald Trump.
Kanye does not appear in the video, and neither does his “girlfriend” Kim Kardashian, even though he mentions her in the song.
West had to ditch the song’s original title “Theraflu” when the medicine company complained. Even still, the video features a prominent bottle of the syrup as it is poured straight into a woman’s open mouth.
