*Lil Wayne had an eventful Valentine’s Day.
According to reports, the rapper proposed to his girlfriend, cocktail waitress Dhea, and he appears to have shared her answer via Twitter.
“She said yes!” he tweeted on Wednesday.
A representative for the star has yet to comment on the reports but MediaTakeOut.com is reporting that Dhea is also pregnant.
Lil Wayne already has four kids – he welcomed two sons in 2009, baby Neal with singer Nivea and Lennox with model/actress Lauren London, and another lover, whose identity remains unknown, gave birth to Dwayne Carter III in 2008.
He also has a daughter, Reginae, with his high school sweetheart and ex-wife Toya. The couple ended their two-year marriage in 2006.
*The husband of Lil Wayne’s baby mama Toya Carter, who appears with her in the BET reality show “Toya: A Family Affair,” was arrested at an Atlanta airport for allegedly trying to carry a fully-loaded gun onto an airplane.
Law enforcement tells TMZ, Mickey “Memphitz” Wright put his backpack through the X-ray scanner at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport as he and Toya prepared to board a flight to Indiana. TSA agents quickly discovered the firearm and called the police.
According to authorities, Wright had a valid license to carry the weapon, insisting he had simply forgotten the gun was in his bag. It’s still illegal, however, to bring it on a plane.
Wright was arrested and charged with carrying a weapon in an unauthorized location. He was detained in the Atlanta Airport Division of the Clayton County Sheriff’s office until bond.
Toya surrounded by friends on her wedding day
*Toya Carter, ex-wife of Lil Wayne, got married over the weekend to producer Memphitz at The Atlanta National Golf Club, reports Global Grind.
Toya and Memphitz in Japan
In attendance was singer Monica, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burress, and also two of Lil Wayne’s baby mamas – singer Nivea and actress Lauren London. There were also performances by Kelly Price and Lloyd.
The whole event was filmed for Toya’s BET reality series “Toya: A Family Affair.”
Lil Wayne, meanwhile, congratulated the couple through his Twitter: “Hat’s off to Toya and Memphis, best wishes.”
*Weezy’s ex-wife Toya Carter, who somehow became popular for who knows the real reason, shared with VIBE recently about her thoughts on the ridiculous clamor about her daughter’s father, her dream wedding and about her new show.
VIBE: Your new book Priceless Inspiration is part memoir/ part motivational. What made you want to put your story out there?
Toya Carter: I’ve always written a diary since I was a little girl. That was my way of expressing myself, so I just decided to turn it into a book. After seeing how much I’ve grown since being a 14-year-old pregnant girl going through all of this different stuff with family, relationships, watching people I loved get hooked on drugs, domestic violence, I’d already written it down in my diary and looking back at it it inspired me to write a book. Priceless Inspiration is dedicated to those young girls whose parents try to lead them the right way and they don’t listen, so maybe hearing it from one of their peers or someone they may look up to will help.
What was the toughest experience for you to write about?
I talk about my previous relationship [with Lil Wayne a little bit, but not in a tell-all way. I talk about things that I’ve learned from that situation and how I was looking at it at that age. When I was 14 I tried to make someone be what I wanted them to be not knowing that they had to grow up and what I was expecting out of a relationship with someone that was in the public eye and me raising my daughter and the help I wanted from them. When they gave me that financial support and not the love and attention I was looking for because when I was growing up I didn’t have no one to give me love and affection and I was looking for that from that person. I open up about that a little. That was like the hardest part… involving [Wayne, but they were a part of my life so everybody who was a part of my life is in Priceless Inspiration from Wayne, to my mom, to my dad, to my brothers, to my ex-best friends, everybody.
Was it difficult because you don’t want to keep connecting yourself to Wayne?
That situation is so hard. People feel like I’m going to always be connected to Wayne because that’s how I was introduced into the spotlight, but I feel like I’m much more than just his baby mama. It’s just crazy because everything I try to better myself it’s always “That’s just Wayne’s baby mama.” I open my store and people come to the store and it’s “That’s Wayne’s baby mama’s store” or I do my own show and it’s “Wayne’s baby mama got her own show now” or I write a book and it’s “Oh it’s a tell-all about Wayne,” so I feel like I can’t dodge that situation. I can see if I was sitting around waiting for Wayne to make things happen for me, but I’m making things happen for myself and I still get that stereotype. But I won’t let that stop me from doing me, but it does bother me sometimes because I can’t help who I fell in love with and had a kid by.
Is that the reason why you refer to Wayne as Dream in the book?

Toya and Tiny
*There’s gonna be a change in the line up of BET’s “Tiny & Toya” when the show comes back next season. Basically there will be no Tiny.
For the last two seasons the show followed the lives of Antonia “Toya” Carter, ex-wife of currently incarcerated rapper Lil’ Wayne, and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, the fiancée of recently released rapper T.I.
Moving forward, Carter says she’ll be featured in a spin-off titled “Toya’s Family Affair,” which will focus on her life, her daughter with Lil’ Wayne and her relationships. But don’t worry, Cottle will make guest appearances.
“We just decided to kind of part ways because she is doing her own thing with her music career, her kids and she’s about to get married,” Carter said in a recent interview with radio/TV personality Ms. Drama. “Some things you have to just keep private and I understand that as a friend.”
Carter hinted that her new show might possibly include her interactions with some of the baby-mamas of Wayne’s other children.
“Me, Lauren [London], Nivea and Sarah, we kind of always get together to keep the kids together so they can know each other,” Carter said. “The situation is not ideal but at this point it is what it is and we try to make the best of it.”
Toya, thanks for sharing that bit of info ’cause we’ve always wondered how that worked.
*T.I. has made his first public appearance since leaving prison.
The rapper on Monday attended a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s research, dubbed “For the Love of Our Fathers,” hosted by his fiancée Tameka “Tiny” Cottle” at Atlanta’s Opera venue.
The event was filmed for her BET reality show “Tiny & Toya,” which follows the lives of Cottle and Toya Carter, Lil Wayne’s ex-wife and the mother of his first child.
“I am very well, very happy to be seen,” said T.I., who joined Cottle onstage at the end of the benefit, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
T.I. continues to serve the remainder of his sentence on a gun-possession charge in a Georgia halfway house. He’s also recording tracks for his forthcoming album in a private studio.
MTV News caught up with T.I.’s manager and Grand Hustle label partner Jason Geter to see when Tip’s post-prison album is slated to hit shelves.
“We did a deal with the film studio Screen Gems for the movie ‘Takers’ with T.I. Both the album and the film are coming out at the end of the summer,” Geter said. “So, yeah, we have a release date.”
