*Chris Rock is teaming up with his famous friends Jerry Seinfeld, Tracy Morgan and current “Grown Ups 2” co-star Adam Sandler to shoot a new movie loosely based on his life.
The comic arrived at the New York City premiere of “Grown Ups 2” with his own camera crew last week, and reports indicate he’s set to star in the as-yet untitled project, produced by Scott Rudin, as a version of himself, named Andre.
According to the New York Daily News, the movie will feature Rock announcing his engagement to Rosario Dawson on her fake reality show, and hanging out with his celebrity friends, including David Spade, Gabrielle Union and Kevin Hart.
The cast has been filming all over New York since June, and Rock recently shot a scene at Scores strip club with Sandler, Seinfeld and Whoopi Goldberg.
A source tells the New York Daily News, “Jerry and them did cameos inside. Sandler accuses a stripper of stealing his cell phone and she says, ‘I have no clothes on, where would I put it?’ Seinfeld says, ‘I know where you could put it.’ It’s very funny.”

*Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan has signed on to star in the FX Networks comedy pilot, “Death Pact.”
Morgan will play a formerly lazy, pot-dealing assistant high school coach, who returns to his hometown as a decorated war hero. He runs across three down-on-their-luck friends and former students and sucks them into his new radical self-help philosophy, which involves harsh consequences for failure.
Production of the single-camera, half-hour pilot episode will take place this summer in New York or New Jersey.
“Death Pact” was co-created by Rob Long (Sullivan & Son, Cheers) and Tad Safran (The Long Weekend), who also serve as executive producers and writers. Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum of the Tannenbaum Company are executive producers.
“Needless to say anything starring Tracy Morgan could be off-the-charts hilarious and we’re betting this one is,” said Grad. “Rob Long, Tad Safran, Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum have delivered a terrific starring vehicle for Tracy. We look forward to casting the other three co-stars and getting started with production. This is going to be fun.”

*Comic Tracy Morgan is firing back at women’s rights groups following fierce criticism of his shows in Australia and calls to boycott the rest of his tour Down Under.
The comedian suffered a mass walk-out during his performance in Melbourne on April 13, with fans and critics subsequently complaining about the overly sexual references and explicit content.
Women’s rights activists, including Melinda Tankard Reist, who runs female-focused campaign group Collective Shout, branded Morgan’s show sexist and called for fans to boycott the rest of his dates.
On Monday, Morgan took to the stage as planned for his first show at the Regal Theatre in Perth and stood his ground, telling the crowd: “All I’m trying to do is make people laugh… It’s fear. (Tankard Reist) doesn’t understand me… I love her anyway.”
According to Themusic.com.au, he then aimed a barb at his critics, adding, “Go home and blog some s**t ’cause you ain’t gettin’ any. I don’t give a f**k what you think.”
Morgan is due to perform a second show at the Perth venue on tonight.
