*In another tale of the fierce and the beautiful, Telemundo model Liza Irizarry is suing Victoria’s Secret bombshell Selita Ebanks for allegedly breaking her nose last year in a fight at a Miami nightclub.
The two hot ladies took it to the ground when the girls were dropping bows over a man. Allegedly, Irizarry was a bit too friendly when she said hello to Ebanks’ man, Terrence J.
“I was in so much pain,” Irizarry, of the Bronx, told the Daily News on Monday, days before she plans to file her civil suit. “My pillow was covered in blood.”
Supposedly Terrence was on his way out when old friend Irizarry ran into him and greeted him with a kiss on the cheek. But an inebriated Ebanks saw it from a whole different perspective. So things got a little out of hand.
“I said to myself, ‘So what, that’s my friend.’ That’s when she hit me on the nose. I went to swing back – that’s when all her friends jumped in. I felt hair pulling and fists coming at me.”
Yeah, her nose was really broken. Now the model is filing a lawsuit for assault and battery in Hudson County Superior Court.
*Tyson Beckford has a model girlfriend, Shanina Shaik.
And he recently said something a man should never say about his woman.
(Are you a fan of EURweb? Like us on Facebook or Follow us on Twitter.)
He told the press he “made her,” claiming that he helped get her career started. He told the U.K. Evening Standard:
“When I found her she was a regular girl, I helped place her with the right people, get her teeth cleaned, her body toned up…Everything changed and now everyone wants a piece of her. I hear people say, ‘You can do better than Tyson.’ I’m like, ‘Really? Really?! I created her!’?”
Hold the phone. The Victoria Secret model responded recently saying that he’s now “in the dog house.”
She told Global Grind that her mama made her.
The 21-year-old responded with:
“Tyson and I really keep our work separate and every now and then we’ll go to events together…sometimes I say ‘You’ve contributed to it’. But everything that I do with my work is separate. And also I never asked him for any help on anything. He just supports me and that’s all I want.”
Somehow, they seem right for each other.
*Singers Solange Knowles and Cassie along with Victoria Secret model Selita Ebanks came together in the midst of their busy schedules to become the new faces of the Carol’s Daughter multiracial campaign.
On the cover of WWD Style magazine, they are captured above withe with the caption: “Beauty is Diversity.”
As reported by Singersroom – Lisa Price, founder of the hair and skin care line – designed the new campaign ad to reflect the recent demographic shift reported by the U.S. Census.
The nationalities of each of the new Carol’s Daughter spokeswomen – Cassie (African American, Mexican and Filipina), Selita (Native American, Irish and African-American), and Solange (African American and French Creole) – directly parallel Census figures showing at least 9 million people who identify themselves as bi- or multi-racial.
“Carol’s Daughter doesn’t have just one direct demographic. Solange’s hair is a different texture than mine; so is Cassie’s. Our skin and body types are different. Today, people are blended, and I think the three of us are a prime example. Women in my family range from vanilla to the deepest chocolate.”
