*Saturday, the Sichuan Province in southwest China was the location of a massive earthquake that displaced thousands and killed nearly 200 people.
The event, like the Boston Marathon bombing, sent people into a frenzy and willing to do whatever they could for their fellow man.
One reporter was en route to her wedding when the earthquake began in the city of Ya’an. But her wedding was not a deterrent to her important job of reporting.
Somehow, someone got a mic to her and she took to the streets with a cameraman and reported on the area to give viewers the most updated information, all while in her wedding dress, according to the Huffington Post.
*On the cover of his new album “Life is Good,” Nas is pictured alone in a club with his ex-wife Kelis’ wedding dress draped over his knee.

Asked the meaning of the photograph, Nas explained that after separating from the singer in 2009 following a four-year marriage and a two-year-old son, Knight, he was very ”hurt and angry” when he stumbled across the wedding dress.
”I found it in my house and thought, it’s going somewhere. Either on the cover of my album, or burning in a garbage can,” he told The Guardian newspaper. ”I was angry when I first found it – hurt and angry – but I don’t think she left it deliberately to hurt me.
”It’s just part of the dress, so I don’t know where the rest of it is. But it made all the sense in the world for me to hold on to that. I guess that’s just my personality.”
Although Nas and Kelis have battled over finances and her settlement since their split, he doesn’t have tainted memories of their marriage and admits it was one of the most ”amazing” times of his life.
”My wedding and my marriage was, for the most part, some of the most amazing times of my life,” he said. ”She’s an incredible woman. It just ended really publicly, it seemed real bad.”
