*(Via AlterNet) – Thousands have signed a petition by the African-American Civil Rights group ColorOfChange.org, calling on MSNBC to fire political analyst Pat Buchanan after his belief in white supremacy became stunningly clear.
Buchanan’s white supremacist ideology, apparent in the past, came to a climax this weekend when he appeared on the white nationalist radio program The Political Cesspool to promote his new book, Suicide of a Superpower, which is itself incredibly, and creepily, whitenationalist. The Political Cesspool goes so far as to describe itself as “a philosophy that is pro-White … We wish to revive the White birthrate above replacement level fertility and beyond to grow the percentage of Whites in the world relative to other races.”
A message from ColorofChange.org:
Buchanan has just published a book which says that increasing racial diversity is a threat to this country and will mean the “End of White America.” This weekend, to promote his book, he went on a white supremacist radio show whose host has said things like “MLK’s dream is our nightmare,” and “interracial sex is white genocide.”
*The white supremacist skinhead convicted in a bizarre plot to culminate a nationwide killing spree of African Americans with the assassination of then-presidential candidate Barack Obama has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Authorities charged that Paul Schlesselman and an accomplice had hatched a plot to kill 88 African American, behead 14 other Blacks and conclude with the assassination of Obama.
The numbers 88 and 14 are said to have some special significance in the growing white supremacist movement. The 19-year-old Schlesselman was from West Helena, Arkansas.
He pleaded guilty this past January. His accomplice, Daniel Cowatt of Bells, Tennessee, has also pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing. (source: Taylor Media Services – www.BlackNewsJournal.net)
*Racial tensions are at the boiling point in South Africa. Yesterday, the white supremacist leader of a paramilitary group nearly came to blows with a black activist and black host on the ETV news program “Africa 360.
“Don’t you dare interrupt me,” Andre Visagie told Lebohang Pheko after she asked him some questions he couldn’t deal with. He ripped off his mike and began to storm off the set, then turned and again confronted Pheko and the black news anchor, Chris Maroleng, sitting next to her.
The incident is reflective of several in the wake of the murder of white supremacist leader Eugene Terreblanche by his black employees, reports the BBC.
